Hello everyone!

I'm a guy of 20 (soon 21) years old from Sweden. I'm a student with a desire to become a software engineer, with an up-bringing where I've made websites since I was 8 and my first word was "kjets kord" (true swedish word is "kretskort", meaning "circuit board" ). As my father is a very well read scientific philosopher, focusing on questions as what the Universe and the reality is, as well as quantum mechanics and the role the mind has in that field, I have of course myself become a thinker about those areas. Contrary to my father, I have tried drugs in my life. Although he is not as liberal as I am, he knows that I am occasionally visiting the psychadelic world as a hobby (which means that I do it on my spare time, not allowing it to having me sacrifice my everyday life) and respects my reasons for doing it, which is something I appreciate a lot. We live a considerable distance apart, so we often exchange e-mails were we discuss thoughts in above said fields, where I relay insights brought to me through psychadelic experiences and he fills the role of science. A very valuable relationship, me and my father got.

I was introduced to the psychadelic world through smoked salvia x21 extract, which actually gave me the worst nightmare of a trip one can imagine. Although afterwards scared of psychadelics in general, I was offered to take the substance known as 4-HO-MET (metocin, a close artificial analogue to psilocin) with some friends, which I took and that really opened me up and encouraged me to embrace this kind of state of mind. Ever since I've read so much about the enigmatic substance known as DMT, but never really got the chance to try it. Especially Ayahuasca has really caught my attention for about a year now, and both mushrooms and other substances such as AMT never really lifts me up to where I want to get.

There's a funny relationship I got with psychadelics and that is I've never really had a bad trip, except for the first one with salvia. No matter how depressed or emotionally ill I am otherwise, psychadelics mends those wounds through immersive and wonderful experiences, so that I can face the reasons to my emotional problem with strength. I know that the human mind "longs" for a spiritual bond, may it be God, spirits or something else. My thought on this is that the human mind "longs" for tranquility and peace, normally offered by nature and the universe as a whole. Civilization and such erodes that bond through offering us illusions of happiness and plight. Psychadelics for me mends that bond to nature. Sure, one can just take a walk in the park or the forest, but that's just a poorly applied patch compared to the state of mind psychadelics can offer you.

Why I'm here is because I am soon to be introduced to Ayahuasca. Before my true introduction to this brew, I want to share my expectations and such, and with the more experienced talk about how to do it well. After my introduction, I want to share my own experiences with beginners like me. I'm friendly and have an open mind to most things. I'm very hard to anger, which I myself consider to be one of my finest qualities as a person.

I've checked out threads here, and I must say I can only smile at how nice the community seems to be. Can't wait to contribute!

May the Divine Moments of Truths bless you all!

Truth is a democratic decision if a detail of an experience is part of reality or not. The same criteria applies to reality. If you and I have experiences based on the same something, that something is to us real. Reality is a democratic agreement, and I'm a rebel.

"That was so strange... I've never been imagined before!" - Me, after a session of smoked salvia, where I merged with my friend through eye contact, while losing the boundaries of my ego.

If one is first to discover a new galaxy, there is no way to distinguish the difference between discovery and creation. They just become synonymous.

Forgot to mention that I am a diabetic (type I), which might be of value to those beginners who later on who also has the disease and got questions about ayahuasca and other things, and how blood sugare relates to them.

hi archaos90, welcome to the nexus Smile

always nice to see another philosophically inclined spirit making its way through the mysteries of the universe.

As to the bad trips, beware. For 10 years I never had a bad one until recently it hit me hard. So you never know until it happens Smile Though of course I don't hope it does.

anyways, be well and enjoy the boards!

cheers & love
