Hi,
I don't really know where to start but:
A 2 months ago i bumped into DMT while discussing about movies in a certain online board. The movie was called "Enter The Void", of which i'm sure many here have seen. (And no, i'm not a douche who has seen a cult film once and tries to be cool)
I was amazed by the -real- ability to be off the earth. To get a second view on life, on everything actually.
My knowledge is ,untouched, concerning DMT experiences. I feel like a virgin, which makes it a bit more valuable :m
I'm not sure to post previous experiences due to legal/crime/DontWantToBeBacktracedHere reasons. It's like i would be typing a declaration.
(just a personal rule)

After 2 monthes research & shopping it was time for the Act:
3days ago i started my first extraction of DMT which unfortunately didn't turn out so good. I followed Erowid in the detail! And due to the heavy colours on this site, i thought it had to do something with a game and a dungeon in this game so i always skipped this site without reading it. Silly me.
I used petroleum (label says kerosene-c, sulfur washed with hydroxide or something)as solvent (and a little bit too much) so there was no precipitation in my freezer. Also the petroleum did not evaporate very well. (should have tested it) It's hard to find the right solvent hence it's all different than in US.

(No worries!, i'm fixing this problem. There is no DMT lost (yet))

I'm living with someone who loves to cook
=>> pretty high-tech and wide variety of kitchen tools. He's okay with this as long as everything is highly cleaned Smile
An automated device which turns my mixing jars is one of them. Yuy! Looks neat too. (Can also be used for chickens)

That's about it. For tomorrow i'm hoping for a succesful launch.
Going to check some of the forums now
Ciao

Enter the Void is a terrible representation of DMT, and a terrible movie. If watching it were my introduction to DMT I probably wouldn't bother with it.

But I'm sure you'll find out for yourself when you work with it.

The movie is rather interesting.. Holding your focus and attention is indeed a hard nut to crack and okay in the second half you -have- to skip a minute from time to time to prevent epilepsy.
It is very confronting, indirectly. Gaspar Noé tries to play with our minds, i find it very amusing to figure out these "traps".
In the end, you have been unevitably trapped, that's why i like the director Smile

*Edit
Little update about the extraction; All went better than expected, got a nice yield, nice color. Even got some diamonds using another solvent. (as I'm experimenting with different techniques)

Breakthrough hasn't yet been obtained, but i'm not rushing anything. Familiarisation is key to all kinds of Hallucinogen...

I learned alot, about myself, about dmt when "failing to breakthrough".
I feel like a leaf falling from a tree, controlled by gravity and slowly descending back to the ground.
It's quite metaforical Smile I hope you guys can recognise this feeling.

It's good you made it through the camouflage! and better not to rely on a recipe you find on erowid, for whatever substance!

Hope you get your extraction right, it's not complicated but you really wanna be careful, especially with the lye and solvant!

By the way, pretty odd to write this,

and then, this,

Anyhow, lots of people write totally openly here, so whatever rocks your boat

That was the "i'm-going-to-be-cautious-about-this-new-project" part of me. Just to satisfy my consciousness

Welcome to the Nexus!!

I hope you were not using QT's tek, thats a horrible one that thanks to entropymancer we finally got erowid to put big warnings on it about all the mistakes!

Regarding talking about previous drug use, I dont see how that is any worse than talking about extractions, and anyways its a secure connection to the nexus server. But as you please of course.. Its just that im curious about your previous experiences, its good to get to know more about newcommers here about the experiences that shaped their lives, and to find points to relate/share/bond, and also points to give constructive criticism to Smile

Are you also interested in taking oral dmt?

Regarding extractions I suggest you also look into the limonene teks, at least personally I find it so much nicer on many levels to extract with orange oil as opposed with naphtha/similar. You can still get pure white crystals with it.. Check BLAB tek for instructions (or the first steps you can do dry tek such as Amor Fati or q21)

Good luck and see you around!

I have read my first post a couple times over and i'm not really happy about it. Too vague
It's not very structural nor telling alot about me. I'm going to write a new one with some updates, so i can be happy about it Smile

INTO THE VOID?! I'm gonna have to check it out (even if it is lousey as I'm hearing). I wonder what other DMT media is out there...my first hearing of it was in The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test by Tom Wolf. Also made into a horrible film I hear but, in the USA I belive it should be required reading in high school history classes. True Hallucinations by Terrence McKenna is the only other place I ever found anything at all about it before I finally got my hands on some. Ofcourse, this is due to the fact that I wasn't looking I'm sure. Just like how none of my associates ever heard of it untill I turned them on and now I find that those shy little Demsters where just a friend of a friend of a stones throw away just waiting to find out what intrests them and teach me, in turn, how to make it a part of my everyday world if I like. It's quite empowering. Hurray for education and those with it that aren't gonna take 'NO' as an answer to 'why not?!'
In this world there are adults and there are children. In fact the world is filled with children; they are angry and hurt, frightened and abused, lazy and ignorant, stubborn and hateful. The world hates an adult and they would rather cause their peers to fail at any venture of self improvement before having to step up and improve their selves so as to maintain pecking order and evidence of the lowley opinion they have of each other. The best of them enslave the others so that they all consume and destroy all there lives in order to satisfy their immense greed claiming that they are providing a future for their legacy and never question the possibility of doing better in order to leave a real future for the children they will leave behind on this, our Earth. They pretend that it is impossible and when cornered they admit their apathy saying that they won't be around to suffer the out come. They hate the adults for exposing their immense weekness. The total failure that they call success. Mean while the adults strive to minimize their own impact and perpetually work to undo the damage already done. The adults who already know; they are the children of tomorrow.
