I want to try changa for the first time and I'm wondering what you guys think the best materials and teks are. There are a lot of them. I have a little experience with legal MJ preparation though so I think I can handle it. Caapi leaf is a must because it has the maoi's. I've never done Deamster on Maoi's so it's a big step.

Preparing changa is easy. Check the Wiki or FAQ and there is a whole section on it. It even has a bunch of different herbs and their potential effects. Basically, dissolve your spice in a minimal amount of acetone, then evaporate that spice containing acetone onto you caapi leaf. Make a 1:1 ratio, it's the best and easiest to dose. In other words, 1 gram spice to 1 gram caapi leaf. Changa is awesome, but there are many other herbs that offer great effects too. I personally love Calea and Blue Lotus.

MAOI's with spice is a big step, but after you do it you will see it's a great way to go. The synergy between caapi or rue harmalas and spice is simply incredible. Yes it makes it last longer and more intense, but at the same time you will notice the harmalas lending you a helping hand during your journeys. Hard to explain until you experience it yourself.

Adding your spice to a 10x caapi leaf or vine extract evaped with ethanol or even IPA onto another herb formsmoking works wonders.

So grab some blue lotus, caapi leaf and vine. Then extract The vine for the material to spray?

Nonono... You don't spray...

Take a large canning jar crush up about 100gms of caapi leaf or vine leafs better IMHO. Soak it with IPA or 190'proof liquor. Then let it sit for a few weeks. Strain it and place the mark in amcrock pot or rice cooker w/10grams of caapi leaf or any other smoking herb such as your lotus, lotus though has a nice color and should be used as an additive to the Changa and added later. A good base is just more caapi leaf. So ten grams of caapi leaf is added and then the heat is applied in he crockpot or rice cooker. It rapidly evaps off and you have ten gms of you smoking base. Take one gm of this smoking base place in a Pyrex dish w/1gm of spice and just barely cover with a small amount of ethanol. Evap in a food dehydrator until dry and resiny do not over heat. Add wha
t ever admixtures you like to your Changa after that. Blue lotus has a nice color. But it's not going to lend to much to the effect honestly. Shit if that's what your going for add brumansia.

It is deceptively easy to make.
Put DMT in Vodka or ethanol or IPA.
Ratios don't really matter, but the less solvent the better.
Say 2 grams into 10mls.
Heat solvent in a water bath in a glass in a pot on the stove.
Pour infused vodka onto herbs in bowl.
Stir well.
Let dry.
Vodka takes longer to dry than ethanol.

SWIM has always found her Blue lotus blends very special, alone and as Electric Sheep. Lately she adds rue-extracted harmalas, and it's different, but still much more visual to her than Caapi leaf changa.

That's cool your working with rue extracted harmalas. You feel thy are more visual? Do you think they are more stoning?

It seems like the lotus has a more visual effect than the Caapi. The rue harmalas definitely feel more stoning than her 20x Caapi leaf. Next time she's going to do the harmine/harmaline separation and just use the harmine.

10ml, is that all? seemt a bit on the low side.

Il use say 30-40ml/gram DMT. Somtimes il even top it up to cover all the leaf

Swim covers the leaf at least. Swim has been taking ethanol or IPA and mixing the spice in w/that. It dissolves at room temp leaving a yellowish liquid. Then swim adds that to 1gm of 10x caapi infused chalipoonga. And leaves it on the dehydrator.
Swim also adds Florida water... Which tastes awesome...

That's interesting hat the lotus enhances the visuals I wonder what's going on there, swims never really had strong effects from lotus.

DMT dissolves in acetone right? I also have the hdpe spray bottles. It couldn't hurt to use them could it?
I may just smoke a bowl of caapi leaf and then DMT after on my first try. I've smoked syrian rue seeds with like 10mg of dmt before and it was an awesome mellow experience.

Your not going to get full saturation from soaked evaporation from spraying them.
Disolve your spice in IPA or 151 vodka even soak your leaves in that an evap. You can put it in a Pyrex dish and then place that in the oven w/ the door open on low.... Easy as pie.

Isn't there a website I can buy the pure harmala and I can take that orally before smoking dmt.

Extracting and isolating THH is complicated. If you have t he prowess. caapi leaf has no harmaline in it. It has harmine and THH. This makes is perfect for Changa. If you want make an ethanol extract of the leaf and take that subliqually. The effects last long if you take the harmalas subligually. You know there are tons of posts on this. I suggest cruising through the forum and reading up on some of thEse subjects. You will find many of your questions answered with a little research.
