Just out of curiosity. I'm also curious if you actually need to smoke harmalas for the effect or if vaping in the GVG is good enough. Convert a melodic element into a rhythmic element...

I voted joint. I've tried it in a pipe and a water bong too. Joint is my favorite so far. I can't answer your vapor question yet. Sorry. Just got my GVG a couple of weeks ago and I've only put straight spice in it. I've read reports on here of people getting great effects using changa in a GVG. Welcome Home Mister_Niles. I voted joint as well... Its just something about smoking a nice changa joint with Calea and other herbs with others, thats just so smooth and refreshing. My personal favourite way to enjoy Changa is to have Caapi tea before hand and then to smoke the Changa in a small glass pipe, pure perfection in simplicity... Much Peace and Happiness

My personal favorite is to smoke it in a bubbler glass bong about 6 inches tall with some water in it.The size of the bowel on my implement is such that if its filled completely without overflowing, this is exactly the right amount which allows me to consume the whole amount in a single hit which is at the limit my lungs can take.Caapi x 11 : FB in a one to one ratio done this way is a breathrough every time. I am paranoid of my brain. It thinks all the time, even when I'm asleep. My thoughts assail me. Murderous lechers they are. Thought is the assassin of thought. Sister likes to use a tubular metal vapourizer (other), its small, discreet, cannot break, fits in a pocket, doesn't let the smell get in the room. So if someone walks in unexpected their only clue would Sister's cluelessness, lol.
One drawback, it heats up pretty quickly, so needs tape wrapped around the mouthpiece to avoid burnt lips.

Unless we're talking a long 20x session, in which case water is necassary for endurance, but that doesn't occur often.

adding vine will increase duration of effects I think while reducing some of the clarity the leaf can provide. I think the 20x as well as any larger dose does this effectively; it increases the levels of RIMAs in the brain allowing for for longer durations of effect Llowing for longer periods between successive redosing. That's my theory at least... you get so much more out of smoking your CHANGA through a Waterbong - Filled,, I have had through a joint before and i couldn't go as far and felt less effective, seemed like a little bit of a waste of CHANG, i couldn't imagine doing it any other way than through a bong with water. POSITIVE TRIPPING!!!

pre-dose of oral caapi is definitely in order I voted all of the above. You can't go wrong with changa! Smoke it out of anything you want, it's always magic.

I rarely use changa, but when I do I use a mini-bong (with water). My GVG is used only for pure spice. gibran2 is a fictional character. Any resemblance to anyone living or dead is purely coincidental.
