Greetings from Jersey!
This is my first post on the forums, yet I've been a lurker for some time now (over a year?). Yes, I'm a bit passive with forum posting & involvement. But none the less, I believe I should start upping my status in the DMT community, share information, learn from others, and hopefully become intellectually mature with regard to the sacred spice.
I became interested in DMT about 3 years ago. But it was only that, an interest. Of course as well all know, the spice had plans for us before we even knew of its existence (at least for me). After a year of the idea of a molecule that could be involved to the connection to spirituality, I had to learn more. During this process of information gathering I ran into quite a bit of interesting topics, people, and experiences! I'm glad the journey turned out the way it did. But I believe that was only the tip of the iceberg!
Fast forward to this year. I was growing confident with the concept that DMT might be "something" to involve my time with. So I decided to do the STB tech using GIR's pictorial and referencing the DMT Handbook. Around the same time I was collecting the materials and planning stuff out, I ran into someone who shared my interests in one of my classes that I was taking. He grows shrooms. We became buddies & he showed me how he grew shrooms. I decided to try shrooms before DMT as a recommendation into a first-time psychedelic experience. I think it worked out well. The mushroom experience was an outstanding one.
Anyway, the STB extraction worked and I had my first few trips on DMT. Now I am obsessed with topics concerning what DMT leads to, talks about, and shows me. The energies we cannot see and the natural symbiosis engulfing our lives as we perceive and endure it.
Here is a compilation I found that was made by a very thoughtful scholar. I just recently found this compiled listing of texts concerning the subjects that, through DMT trips, peak my interest. I hope this little compiled list is a treasure to you as it was to me. And thank you all for the warm welcome (I hope )Compiled Listing of Texts concerning Consciousness and various other subjects: http://www.uwsp.edu/psych/dk/readingl.htmAn observer beholding experience

Welcome to the Next-US and the next you. Glad to have another curious soul aboard for the ride! Read around, poke around, be around. BTW, that link you posted now says "page not found" on the U of W page... JBArk JBArk is a Mandelthought; a non-fiction character in a drama of his own design he calls "LIFE" who partakes in consciousness expanding activities and substances; he should in no way be confused with SWIM, who is an eminently data-mineable and prolific character who has somehow convinced himself the target he wears on his forehead is actually a shield.

Welcome May you Endure Safe journeys. "You are an explorer, and you represent our species, and the greatest good you can do is to bring back a new idea, because our world is endangered by the absence of good ideas. Our world is in crisis because of the absence of consciousness." — Terence McKenna
