Lol, yes I'm with JBark, something WILL happen on December 21, 2012, but something will happen tomorrow, too. There's going to be a lot of special somethings on Winter Solstice 2012. A World Rainbow Gathering in Tikal, Guatemala, I'm told, as well as many other psy parties and gatherings of folks. Regardless of whether there's going to be a "Galactic Alignment", we'll be having a hella good time, see you there.

but...in the name of reason and good science, you actually cannot discount any prophecy as wrong, either. saying something won't happen is just as illogical as saying it will. it's illogical because you're saying you know the future. oh yeah? what's tonight's winning lottery numbers?

not trying to be an ass...just trying to remind the "reasonable" people who think it's hog wash that they don't know whether it will or won't happen so taking the opposite stance is just as well thought out as believing it. i love when theoretical debates come up...people usually feel strongly about these theoretical situations (not saying anyone here does). they will argue/debate all day why this theory is or isn't right when in truth...no one "knows" until it is proven/dis-proven. none of us know whether or not 2012 will "happen". but i'll tell you what...if nothing happens...comes december 22...i'm gonna be makiing fun of a lot of people!!!

as for me...i've had 2 trips that were very similar to mayan prophecy. i was shown that if i learn what i'm supposed to learn and treat my fellow man with respect, i would become my own star; given my own galaxy; become my own God head. this may not be verbatim the mayan prediction but it's similar. i've 2 two like this. they were 2 of the longest lasting realizations i've ever had (as far as feeling the afterglow for DAYS). mind you...this was before i ever even heard of some mayan prophecy jive. i'm not sold on a date or anything, but from what they've shown me, there's something to this mayan thing. maybe the date's wrong and the exact prediction wrong but i feel that they were on to something...

why'd the calender stop that date? i don't know...maybe they were like "geez frank...we're like millenniums ahead of ourselves and quite frankly my hands are sore. let's take a break. we'll come back to this". and they just never got back around to it. who knows?

i'm not well versed in the prophecy but i believe it's something along the lines of come 12/21/2012, we'll (maybe only some of us) shift off into another consciousness, becoming our own God (so to speak). or maybe i'm way off in what i know of prophecy and this post had absolutely no relevancy (in which case...that's even better...i love to waste my time).

2012.... ahhhhh such a glorious date, when every volcano on earth erupts at the same time, and our precious galaxy enters into the black hole at the center of our universe...

I think what'll happen is a huge sift in the global consciousness, people will start respecting people, as well as the earth which gives us life. This might take hold because of these hallucinogenic "movements" which seem to be coming around (just notice the growth of it now?!?!) People are starting to realize the governmental bullshit, maybe not these "people with their ultra safe lives" but the people that really matter: todays youth.

More and more people have heard the lies and found the truth. More people are starting to "think" and "experiment" for themselves. I think the LSD movement will be coming back as well, opening up the minds of millions...

I don't quite get the topic name "2012 or 2013?" Both are just dates, man-made dates to tell time... when dealing with infinity, do you think two "years" means much?

In 2012 I think will be the point of no return: Either we change, or we destroy ourselves eventually.

i put 2012 or 2013 because 2012 is the date that it is suppose to happen but real changes will only be visible as we move into 2013 everything isn't going to change in a day.

If the big shibang, or something, is going down then; i think that we will all know something weird is going on well before the end date

eh i dunno, the rapture is happening this May, so i'll try to make both... but you know how it is, you don't just go for the Rapture, you go for the afterparties. So it might be tough. Scheduling is key!
