The title basically says it. What's a common herb; preferably something someone could get at the grocery store, that produces a small amount of smoke and is smooth? I think peppermint would be a good choice but what else?

Some I have tried are parsley, peppermint, basil and even coriander. I know these things do well in soups and curries but they produce a much better smoke than tobacco. This is not for changa or infused leaf of course, but for normal dmt in a pipe or bong using a simple sandwich method, I find I don't cough or choke like I would using anything else. Even salvia leaf is harder to smoke down.
