I'm very new to a lot of the stuff I have read so far on the Nexus and some on other sites, but I do know I am very interested in Spice and wisdom (the kind not taught in schools) I'm currently getting prepared to move out into the city for college, I've lived in a small town most of my life. I have a love and passion for music and art and as soon as I upload my avatar image it will be one of my drawings. I love Tool and APC and pretty much any psychedelic prog rock band that has evolved for the better. I am a musician and I play guitar, keyboard, and I sing. My art is generally pencil and pen sketch plus writing. I love beauty, I see beauty in many things, art, music, writing, nature, people, animals, pretty much anything that can be aesthetically pleasing. I look forward to learning as much as I can here and sharing my journey with all of you while learning from yours.

Thank you Steely, I've read up on some Spice topics elsewhere and knowing it's not around here made me pretty bummed out. It's sites like this that help us get resources to entering the other side without a middleman, who could tamper with the spice and do some pretty bad things (people in this little town are into some hard stuff... Coke, Meth, Oxy... Lots of just dangerous and addictive things could be possibly spiked into the spice. I've got MHRB and such so I'm here to learn a bit about what it does, what to do with it, and how to use it properly. I've looked into Whatchas tek and that looks like a good route. I've been doing a lot of research since I got my bark.

Have you looked into doing a Straight To Base extraction? Many, if not all, would consider it to be the simplest, and a highly effective method for beginners.

If you haven't already, look into meditation. It is always best to enter your journeys with a clear mind to be at ease. It greatly helps with separating yourself from your body.

There are a million things you could learn to help you prepare for the oncoming awesome that is the intensity of being shot into a different reality, but in the end it all comes down to stepping up and taking the first hit. Then the second and third

Spice is very easily burned, and if this happens, you will find yourself feeling very uncomfortable with your lungs on fire. There are certain pipes such as the VaporGenie that make it very hard to burn spice, and very easy to get the most out of it. That costs $99. A cheaper way is to have a nice bong and use the sandwich method.

Inside of the bowl I would place down 2-3 screens, then the spice, then another screen (optional), with some ash on top.

I believe the simplest way to go about it is making changa, which doesn't burn as easily. The best advice for smoking that I have is to keep your lighter at a distance of an inch, breath in slowly while lowering the lighter, and stop when the flame begins to pull toward the bowl. I have only burned my spice once, and that was prior using the sandwich method.

I meditate quite a bit and I just wrote a piece to a person saying Tool (the band) wants its listeners to not think as much as they are about the music - this is what he wrote - "Sorry guyz,but i think all of u look way too deep into Tool's songs.Maynard kinda says it in Lateralus."Over thinking over analyzing separates the body from the mind".Think about it."
then what I wrote - "Over thinking, Over analyzing, Seperates the body from the mind" I don't think it's meant as a bad thing but it's meant to me at least as - we are humans who are always searching for justification and reasoning for things to be the way they are and that keeps us closer to our bodies but not our minds. In a lot of psychology and religious writings, the mind is more powerful then what can be perceived in reality. If that's the case, to over analyze and over think about our reality is to be more immersed in reality then being able to open our minds. What I think Maynard tries to get across is like ToolLateralMe said think harder and see what you can become, look into alex grey - the one who does some of Tool's artwork, look at who he is interested in - terrence mckenna, and timothy leary - both are psychedelic explorers but are also thinkers. If Tool didn't want us to think like we are, why would they surround themselves with such people?" -

I think it fits into the overall mindset I have. The more open the mind is, the better the outlook and success of the future will be. I think set and setting I should do alright with as long as Im in a good frame of mind. anyways, what do you think on the things I wrote about: Whatcha's Tek, Marsofolds Tek, and 'The Machine'? I have another question 2 about 1lb. of MHRB and wanting DMT and Ayahuasca, do you think it's possible to get both out of 1lb.?

You are going to need some caapi vine for ayahuasca. Dmt you can extract from the mhrb but you won't find any aya in there.

Thanks Gamma, I'll have to look into that.. Unfortunately I just read on here that there was a bust not too far from where I live, about a 30 min. drive actually, so it's probably on high alert at the moment. I'm definitely going to have to wait for the summer for any extraction to happen.
