I stumbled upon this site when looking for some extraction help (which I am very much in need of).

During this summer I smoked marijuana for the first time. Since then I have used nitrous a few times and shrooms once. The effects of these drugs intrigue me and I desired to broaden my horizons and explore myself in ways that I hadn't before. I find creation fascinating, I enjoy growing plants from seeds (Apples, Oranges, Avocados, Pineapple) and I decided that I wanted to use a drug that I synthed/grew/extracted. That left me with a lots of options. Many of these options were immediately discarded because the chemicals were to hard to come buy (any RC), the techniques too difficult (at least for now), and the long terms effects disputed (MDMA). I now had a few options... DMT, Mescaline, or Shrooms. Shrooms was out because I had done it before. I wanted something special. I decided that DMT would be a nice start, as the extract would be easier than Mesc (no defatting necessary). As I read about DMT I realized I had most definitely made the right choice. Short, intense, and eye opening. I decided what tek I was using (I ordered some Mimosa and proceeded with my extraction, learning more than I expected about chem (teaching myself some AB, general lab safety stuff).

I am looking forward to figuring out what went wrong with my extraction (or just learning how to actually smoke...) and learning about the depths of the universe and myself.

Did you consider taking dmt orally too?

By the way, if you can grow avocados and pineapples I guess you live in a reasonably warm area, right? Maybe you can grow some chacruna and caapi too.. ?

How do you grow pineapples man ? Do non-domestic ones have seeds?
U dont need to do an extract on mesc though dude, could just take in the cactus in another way.
then it may even be easier than DMT.

I didn't add enough NaOH to the first extraction this has now been fixed.

I will take it orally at some point. I would like to finish applying to colleges and wait for nicer weather before I take it orally. I'm still working on my smoking technique am happy with how it's going.

I unfortunately don't live in an environment that is warm all year long. The pineapples and avocados are currently inside. I would like to grow caapi or something like that but (again) would like to wait until my applications are done before I start another project.



Pineapples are surprisingly easy to grow. All one needs to do is rip the full head off of a fully grown one and stick it in water until roots sprout. Transfer to soil and it continues to grow. I have a relative who lives and Florida and his pineapple produces fruit.

I realize I don't need to do a mesc extract but would still like to. The extraction is part of the allure for me.

I too have enjoyed growing various plants from seeds. Here’s a little story:

Over 25 years ago, I planted a lemon seed (a regular grocery store lemon, not a Meyer lemon) and have kept the tree ever since (potted, growing inside). In March of 2009, the tree got its very first blossom. The lemon grew and grew, and this past July (16 months after blooming!) the ripe lemon fell off the tree. It weighed 1.5 pounds! Anyhow, I planted some of its seeds, and I now have 3 lemon seedlings – “grandchildren” of the seed I planted over 25 years ago.

That's so cool! I wish to keep my plants for a while. Hopefully my parents can refrain from letting them die while I'm at college.

If you think shrooms were nothing special you haven't had a proper trip on shrooms. You should maybe give them one more try before you do DMT and then do a proper dose.

My shrooms trip was very special. I had deep philosophical questions about language with one of my best friends. What I meant by that is I wanted something that I grew/extracted that would be hard for me to come by otherwise. Since I can easily buy shrooms I didn't to grow them as my first project of the year. I'll probably do that later but I would like to experience a proper DMT breakthrough and extract some mescaline before I do so.
