Swim has been living in the same area his entire life. Nothing has been new to him since he got out of high school. That's only been 4 years now, but he's realizing that nothing changes once you become an "adult". Life can easily become a routine if you don't wanna steer it off into other directions, and this is what people should be taught immediately after stepping off the stage with your diploma in hand. You've got responsibilities and need to make sure you don't fail in this tough world. Some people are able to live in rather good conditions depending on their parents status, or just because they're great at making ends meet on their own. SWIM is in between, but hes leaning more on his own side making ends meet. He's been learning a lot at his trade job working at a waste water plant with how life works and what is needed to make this world a better place, but that is not where he learned most. He experimented at age 19 through now with a lot of hallucinogens. Being LSD, mushrooms, cough syrup. SWIM is in no way a droned out kinda person because he didn't do it constantly through a small period of time, but he's done it enough to learn about himself a bit. There is definitely some insecurities that is hidden and he wants discovered. He's done a lot of research on DMT / Aya and now wants to take it a step further...SWIM has been reading on these forums for some time now and is trying to use the Herbal Percolator. He's tried 2 times in the past few days with failed experiments. First one being: 42g caapi one litre of 140degree F. He read more into the Herbal Percolator and discovered he messed up with the amount of water to use. Yesterday failed at using 10g caapi and one l.5litre water. SWIM doesn't understand that because author dagger said that works for him, but why not me? He guesses we all are different. So now 62g caapi and 9300ml water is just about done boiling. He's not sure how low to boil it...hopefully SWIM don't go to far to ruin the product. Anyways enough of him rambling. SWIM is loving this site. It's very informative and it seems that everyone gets a long here well. People are so nice to respond fast and courteous to others questions. Hopefully SWIM will be able to join in on peoples experiences and discussions of this spirit molecule world. SWIM is excited to dive into a new learning experience! =)

Just a quick thought here. As much as i personally have gained huge benefit from using psychedelics, notably LSD etc. It seems to be that DMT does not reveal any truths about my self. Only, strange cosmic narratives, alternate worlds and micro/macro dimensions.

It seems like LSD is a great tool for introspection, learning about ones self and how they relate to the world, the personal relationships etc.

DMT does not give me benefit like that.. rather i seem to gain benefit from DMT simply from being able to step out of my body into an entirely alien world. This allows me to experience something outside of my everyday subjective experience and helps put my own miserable existence into a better perspective on a cosmic sense... this is my definition of spirituality, and it is something that cannot be taught, only experienced.

Namaste.

“Right here and now, one quanta away, there is raging a universe of active intelligence that is transhuman, hyperdimensional, and extremely alien... What is driving religious feeling today is a wish for contact with this other universe.”

My experience:

Smoked (vaporized) DMT is an outward journey. Strange and very alien. A world beyond imagining.

Oral DMT with caapi (aya/pharma) is an inward journey. Very introspective. The world within.

swim agree with you gibran =) After last night he can totally agree with it being very introspective. He learned quite a bit about my self, and all he did was do b. caapi no m hostilis. He didn't have the "light" to guide me through his ways, but he still had a interesting / captivating time. He'd love to tell you his story, but it's kinda on his personal side. He woke up this morning and wrote down everything he could remember. It was like writing a short story Smile
