Hello,
I see that in your list of plants that contain DMT
you list Acacia Tortilas
as having
DMT, NMT, and other tryptamines
yet i can not find either a source for this
or more specific information
such as which part of the plant
or what percentage
Can anyone help me as i would like to use local flora
Thanks
VaVar

Acacia Tortilis.

Question: Isn't this the tree that is like... so typical in the African Savannah? You know the classic tree in that panoramic sunset photos of the African lands?

As a funny comment... I remember that in the Disney Movie "The Lion King", this character called "Rakifi" (like the shaman monkey of the movie) lived in one of those trees. Then Simba goes and visits him (I think) and at some point Simba starts having visions of his father in the night sky... etc... seemed like a trip.

I am not saying that there is a reference of DMT use in The Lion King movie!
I am just saying its funny that the tree where the shaman monkey live is the same (Acacia Tortilis) Smile

that's it !
and everyone list it as containing
DMT and other trypt.
however, everyone seems to either have no source
or a swedish site listed as the source
when you check the swedish site
they list it like everyone else but do not give a source
as it grows local
i would like to know for sure
and which part
BEFORE i start brewing
: )

Yeah, it is strange that wikipedia is taking that site as the reference and then when you go see why, there is no reference. In any case, it is known that a lot of Acacia genus plants contains DMT (maybe not as much as the popular South American plants), so I wouldn't be surprised if it indeed has DMT. It would be nice to see a scientific paper about it, though.
