thankyou for the opportunity to join you on this site. there seems to be a fantastic catalogue of information and dedicated posters. I first drank Ayahuasca two years ago and found it to be an incredible yet very difficult experience. the most extasy and pure love i have felt as well as the most scared and disgusted i've felt. Since then i have smoked changa on a few occasions..maybe 6? although always profoundly interesting yesterday was the first where it was actually as though i'd broken through, where i was breathing with the reality (hyperspace!?) and very relaxed, where as other changa journies have been quite hectic, fast very geometric with dejavu. hence me turning up here. i'd love to pursue my exploration further and share my experience with others and vis versa.

i need to get some sleep so i'll round it up! basicly i'd like to start learning how to extract dmt, and start understanding whats what.. i.e whats a tek? what even is changa? what is the easiest/simplest thing to start with? (EDIT: just found the extraction overview part!) im excited to enter a little more into this world, as the changa i have had has been very expensive i have only ever had one hit then left it for a few months. although reading through here it seems as though it could be necessary to take a few to really break through, i have yet to come into contact with any entities although a friend of mine who i have smoked with says he did and he was smoking a similar dose.

Read, read, and then read some more. It will all start to make sense. Order some mhrb and start experimenting. Careful though dmt isn't really addictive but extracting it sure is!!

welcome Inkling to the nexus, great introduction. it sounds like you have a good outlook on things and with some time poking around the wiki and faq im sure you will find everything you need to know. if not we are all here to help you in your quest of exploration.

as far as this goes id love to tell you that i dont feel this is true. it completely depends on you and how you proceed with the advice and information you get here.
i would pretty much guarantee if you followed all the teks and smoking methods, got a vapor genie or similar vaporizer and buy a mg scale you will knock it out of the park. the info is there most just cant follow it because of finances or choose not to follow it for whatever reason.

nice one on your welcomes, tips and time. been reading a little bit more. got a friend whos down for the extraction so gunna start looking into what we need and where to get it.

what are peoples opinions of what gets lost during the extraction process? i know people that work a lot with Ayahuasca say that extracted dmt lacks the plant spirit, and elemental. thus a lot of the teachings. i can appreciate they are two different things completely but just wondered where some of you coming from in this respect.

i can definitely see myself coming home from work n blasting off to hyperspace where as this obviously isnt really possible with aya. i guess DMT in smoke form is in essence much more recreational, but i feel it would be a shame for people to not also be working with plant medicine.

Don't make the mistake of thinking because of the abbreviated time frame that freebased DMT is recreational. It's really not - and if that is your expectation going in, you could be in for some horror.

its not, perhaps recreational is the wrong word, but whether its recreational or not wasn't really what i was getting at.

from what i understand of DMT in all its forms, what ever your expectation, no matter the number of times you have taken it, there's still the potential for some horror.

would people say its necessary to buy an mg scale if your smoking changa?
