The blotters that circulate the Netherlands vary greatly in strength.
SWIM remembers taking Hoffman blotters 2 years ago that were really strong. 1/4th of a blottertab would be almost a fullblown trip, 1/2nd of a blotter a whole one, 1/3d or more of such tabs would make for a very extreme, very lengthy out of body experience.

Then after those disappeared from the market, some really weak hoffmans circulated the streets here for a while.

Since the beginning of last summer there were a new series of blottertabs circulating the streets, being called "Shiva's"( having the depiction of lord shiva )
These are very strong. SWIM has found himself tripping very hard from as little as 1/8th of a shiva-blotter. Tripping so hard it is JUST that little step short of a fullblown psychedelic experience. Half of a shiva blotter is just a little more then a fullblown experience, it is quite deep and inescapable in fact.
Taking 1 whole Shiva tab SWIM would advise to only be done in a very tranquil, secure enviroment, such as a forrest camp or a trusted, friendly house and to remove oneself from excessive amounts of people and citylife-chaos.



Has anySWIY in the US encountered such potent blotters?

Well, as hoffman said since you need about 25 mics of lsd for threshold effects you can indeed find out the strenght of a batch of blotters quite easily (cut a blotter in A pieces, find how much
pieces you need (=Y) for threshold effects then you get the dosage (X) of the whole blotter with the formula X= +- 25*(A/Y)

looks like the same types circulate here - shiva's that are very strong are currently around.

This is what I don't like about acid now that I am older and don't feel like having these experiences as often. It's hard to plan a 10 hour day plus some come down time (I like to have a day after with nothing to worry about). I used quite a lot of it during my college days. Easily 100+ "tabs" worth and had no concept of what each tab was worth weight wise. 1 tab was always effective and very psychedelic, but then you start wanting to take 2-4 tabs at least to get deeper. All my experiences took place 10-15 years ago. I basically used my first and/or average dose as a base whether that was 50ug or 100ug or 200ug I have no clue. Then I would be like ok this stuff seems 2 or 3x stronger than normal.

Once at the height of it myself and 2 friends took 3 1/3 (split a 10 strip) of some plain white stuff which other people then took singles off and said was very strong. Over the coarse of the night I went through an ego death experience and was feeling great/blissful, then later experienced what seemed like telepathy with one of the people where we saw thoughts between us for a brief time and then got stuck in a terrible loop like experience with one of the guys jointly. It felt like there was some unseen presence playing games with us and we both felt it at the same time and were freaking out badly. I remember at one point I somehow "KNEW" how to "Beat this level" as we went upstairs into a new area. I turned on the lights and we "won" and were totally elated and felt good for what felt like 5 minutes only to be brought back again. Totally bizarre.

Who knows how many ug that was. If I were to take LSD again I would need to always test with one or 1/2 or w/e (I actually found after a while, one could often get me where I wanted to go with less distraction) just to see what the best dosage is. I really don't want to have to have a "trip" just to figure out the dosage for a deep experience. Oh to be young

Hmm... In northern Europe we had strong Shiva's over a year ago, since then every Shiva on the market have been medium strong, at top. But then again, a good blotter for us is at least 150 ug, preferably 250-300 ug. Yes, they are that strong - tested with the same method as justine proposed in addition to being compared to blotters with a known content.

I know for a fact that all the good LSD I am able to get here is made in Europe. I would not be surprised if each continent has their own suppliers, but then again it is incredibly easy to transport even insane quantities of LSD, so who knows... What I do know, however, is that when I read about people taking 3-5 blotters to feel it I feel kinda lucky. 1/2 of my usual blotters is enough for a medium trip.

swim has trie very potent shiva blotters good stuff , know swim get these new sheets that are smaller then a normal blotter and they dont have those line with litle holes so one can cut the tabs theses one need to be but with a scissor and are very pure stuff

OP, I understand where you're coming from about people taking large amounts. I think it has to do with tolerance. Because like you I couldn't eat more than like 5 tabs. My most intense trip was on 2 hits of REALLY good WoW. I had drank a bunch of moonshine though I'd describe it much like Soulfoods except with a shit load of fractals everywhere and reality breaking down to show me that everyone and everything represents aspects of my own conciousness and things of that nature. Complete with people walking up to me and saying the EXACT things I was thinking, word for word. Needless to say it was INSANE!!
