Hello everyone.
My road to Dmt has been long and arduous. I got into halluconigenics more than fifteen years ago. I find spiritual solace in these substances, the closest thing to religion for an atheist like me. It also centres me, blows away the cobwebs. Well, okay, I also take it to get high I suppose.
Mostly Lsd, but I have taken mushrooms, as well as devil datura (once).
However, nothing has intriqued me more than the idea of DMT. And nothing has frustrated me more than chasing that idea.
I first heard about dmt about six years ago, and I have been on searching for it ever since.
For the first few years I was looking specifically for Acacia Maidenii ( which for some reason at the time I believed to be the only local DMT bearing species). No luck with that. I just suck at identifying trees. Neither was I up to sampling random trees and hoping for the best.
I did do two extractions on Phragmites reeds, which was an expensive waste of time; didn't deliver a single crystal.
But I accepted all these setbacks with Zen-like patience. Sooner or later DMT would make it into my head. My energy would prevail.
Luckily the DMT gods took pity on me, and caused me to stumble onto the DMT_Nexus. I swear, its like coming home. I learned a hell of a lot of things. Like Mimosa Hostilis root, and the fact that you can just buy it over the internet. Yay ! There was much rejoicing.
Of course things are never that easy, are they ?
I may have found the merchants, but since I did not possess a credit card, I was still screwed. I applied for a credit card, but was told that I had been blacklisted over some bad debt. Being blacklisted is a lot like having the financial equivalent of leprosy and syphilis all rolled into one.
At the time of writing this, it has taken a year and two months to mostly settle the debt. Still owe R600 ( about 90 US$ ) which I will easily pay end of the month.
Then financially disinfected, I can finally get the credit card. Open up a paypal account. Then at long last, order some MHRB from adenium.com. Then barricade myself at home and cook my witch's brew.
Oh god. It's so close I can practically smell the acrid smoke !
I just hope it was worth all the drama.
The odours occasionally wafted from the laboratory were exceedingly strange. Sometimes they were noxious, but more often they were aromatic, with a haunting, elusive quality which seemed to have the power of inducing fantastic images.
People who smelled them had a tendency to glimpse momentary mirages of enormous vistas, with strange hills or endless avenues of sphinxes and hippogriffs stretching off into infinite distance.
