Dear Nexus members, like minded individuals and fellow beings!
Let me start by saying it’s a pleasure to come across your community and be so warmly welcomed!
Let me give you a quick run down of my past and present to help break the ice!!! A very strong life philosophy that I still hold to date is that time is short; therefore the most must be made out of every moment. I have lived my life with a no regrets policy. Sure I’ve don’t some things that I’m not proud of and if given the chance would not do again, however these experiences have amassed to form part of the individual that I am today, and that I would not change. Throughout my late teenage years my interpretation of this philosophy resulted in a live to party mentality. For a time I was heavily involved in the club scene and indulged in many of the so called “delights” that came with it. These were some of the best years of my life and I can say that without a doubt. I have had many memorable experiences, given the circumstances however I would estimate that I remember at best a quarter of them!!!! This however was a key catalyst in changing my perception about some of the confines that society does impose on one’s self, and that these things must be first questioned in order for one to make their own judgements. Whilst these experiences were temporarily fulfilling, that soon gave way to hollow emptiness and I began to tire of the “party hard” attitude and to look for something deeper, more meaningful and profound. Something that actually benefited me as a person. At this point I began to take an interest in psychedelics. Been a cautious person I did my research to make sure my decision was well informed and that I knew what I was dealing with instead of jumping in the deep end. My early expeditions gave way to something that began to help me connect with my spirituality and the world around me. I began to broaden my horizons bit by bit but with a new mindset, one of respect, maturity and appreciation. In won’t go into too much detail here since I’m sure there will be plenty of time for that later, but my time with spice in particular has had an exceptionally positive impact on me as a person. These days I am so much more aware of life’s beauty and all it has to offer. I still seize every opportunity but now see the path to a happy life to be one of physical, mental and spiritual enrichment. I look forward to continuing on my journey and I am excited that this community is now part of it!!
