Hi dmt-nexus, I recently came into contact with Dmt this past week. I heard of it, was interested but never got around to trying it. A friend of mine acquired a 25bag (I believe it was .3 g) I'm not exactly sure. Either way I smoked it up with him. I had an awesome experience, I felt so great. Beautiful visuals, my hearing was excellent, I thought it was the greatest thing ever.
15 minutes later it was leaving me, but I felt energized and well rested. (even though I had a long stressful day)
Don't guilt trip me about this part, I was ignorant. So my friend pulled out a 80mg OC pill. I've tried it before, I enjoy an opiate high. Anyways, I nodded out. (Didn't take much OC) In the opiate sleep, I was having intense vivid dreaming similar to my Dmt experience. (same night) I had some real awful dreams of carnage turn into dreams of me being eaten alive. (Nightmares) I woke up, still on the couch, not in a stressful or negative environment. But my chest was sore like I was actually being attacked. It has been a week, I am still having horrible nightmares. I am afraid of sleep at the moment. I wake up in sweat, and in pain.
I will seek medical help if I need to. I am really unsure what this all means, I found barely any help regarding Dmt triggering bad dreams. I don't know if Dmt and Oc mix well or mix badly either. I am not the type of person who has bad experiences with drugs. I've tried basically everything but Dmt, and I really enjoyed the feeling, but I am having horrible flashbacks. My friend suggested I come here with my question, please give me positive help, I do not feel like being trolled. Thank you kindly, TzL

What is an OC pill? Anyway, my advise would be to lay off any drugs for a while, eat healthy and get some excersize. Possibly seek professional help. I hope all returns back to normal soon.

It has been a week. I haven't been on drugs, just smoking reef. I exercise daily and eat with health in mind. An OC is oxycontin. I am a normal person, and I am not blaming DMT, I just am wondering if anyone else has had DMT trigger some bad dreams. A friend said that dreams of cannibalism often mean the dreamer is stressed or being overworked in a relation, or a career. The actual physical pain I feel from my nightmares is what gets to me. I have heard no similar experience and I wish some genius would be like "Hey son, that was NOT DMT." or "Hi sir, OC will trigger anxieties and DMT will focus your anxiety"
Thanks gammagore, I will continue.

I recently went thru a week or so of intense dreaming/anxiety. After 10 days of changa daily/every other day, capped off by 2 and a half 2cb's on the 10th day i had some amazing, enlightening, horrifying dreams. I think for me personally, my mind was just open enough to see everything that was in my head, positive and negative, and it helped me understand my previous dmt experiences a little more. I think it was completely the dmt in my dreams, maybe enhanced by the bees. I did have to take some time off and focus my energies on other things besides my trips, more family time, exercise, etc. As far as the pain your feeling, maybe your body is showing you how much you are hurting it by taking OC and other things that aren't compatible with your body?
Hope everything gets better for you

Quote:I haven't been on drugs, just smoking reef. Do not underestimate the power of marijuana. Despite what you seem to think, it is a drug, and quite a potent one too. Lay off it for a while and there is a good chance the nightmares will subside; continue smoking and you are a train-wreck-to-be. Do not shy away from professional help if the dreams persist and you need it. While these substances can be very "healing" we mustn't forget that we are muddling with our minds, conflagrating with our consciousness, and for some, sometimes, a little can be too much - not to mention the cocktail you mixed up... Get help if you need it, but first, try going completely drug-free for a bit. Wishing you well, JBArk JBArk is a Mandelthought; a non-fiction character in a drama of his own design he calls "LIFE" who partakes in consciousness expanding activities and substances; he should in no way be confused with SWIM, who is an eminently data-mineable and prolific character who has somehow convinced himself the target he wears on his forehead is actually a shield.

I would echo the advice to stop smoking weed until this goes away. You are in the midst of processing a deeply inscrutable experience, and you may well be chewing on that 15 minutes (either consciously or subconsciously) for a very long time to come. Weed can definitely provoke anxiety, and especially in times of trauma. DMT and opiates aren't a great mix either - but it's hard to imagine your reaction with the sequencing of events you've described.
Regarding the chest pain, who can say? Could be you ingested some caustic impurities along with your store bought spice. Could be that you burned it (as opposed to vaporized), but I can't imagine that would lead to a week of pain or discomfort. The bad dreams aren't so very hard to imagine or understand. This is just the price of stepping through the looking glass, I'm afraid. You'll integrate over time, don't worry. Just lay off the weed until you do.

Dear Tzl, Here is a study on opioid agonists (oxicontin) and antagonists interactions with DMT on mice from psycho-pharmacology book. http://www.springerlink....ontent/l2364480lnh776v4/Regards, 'Life is an illusion designed to keep your mind occupied while you are digested by God.'
