One of my very favorite websites is Big Think. Anybody can subscribe and it is free with no spam. September is "Brain Month" so they have called upon their international experts to update us on what science knows about consciousness ... scientifically speaking, of course:
http://bigthink.com/ideas/23020...010&utm_medium=email

After reading this, I got the distinct impression that we Nexians are a few thousand light years ahead of what Dr Damasio, as a scientist, had to offer up here. As usual, the discussion comments afterwards are even more interesting. Perhaps Dr Strassman should join their team!!!!

(Disclaimer: I am in no way conntected with Big Think!)

Thanks for recommendation. I watch tedtalks (www.ted.com) with breakfast. I'll give this a try with lunch.
Few days ago here on Nexus I found recommendation to this psychedelics conference site: http://vimeo.com/mapsmdma/videos
I found it interesting and relevant. Give it a try while eating dinner, if you like Smile
