I'm concerned with the big questions: the nature of existence, the nature of consciousness, and how to make the most of this weird trip we call life. I'm interested in traditional entheogenic practices, viewed through scientific eyes (albeit amateur ones, I admit). I have experience with most traditional entheogens, but not all, so there is still plenty of room for growth. My opinion so far is that ayahuasca is the most fascinating and positively lifechanging of all entheogens. I'm interested in learning more about the various admixtures and preparations for use with the vine. I have smoked DMT in the distant past, N-oxide too, and though I have not smoked it in a long time, and will probably never do so again, I can still feel her within me and I consider her a dear friend. I am also a student of the cactus. What else? I'm really interested in the suppliers section. I've had lots of good and a few bad experiences, and I'd be happy to share those experiences. I'm not used to talking about myself directly, so enough about me! Here's hoping that I will be able to post in the main forum in due course...

Welcome to the Nexus, Existender A student of the cactus, hey? You have a good teacher, so study hard I am paranoid of my brain. It thinks all the time, even when I'm asleep. My thoughts assail me. Murderous lechers they are. Thought is the assassin of thought. Like a man stabbing himself with one hand while the other hand tries to stop the blade. Like an explosion that destroys the detonator. I am paranoid of my brain. It makes me unsettled and ill at ease. Makes me chase my tail, freezes my eyes and shuts me down. Watches me. Eats my head. It destroys me.

Welcome from one Nexus newbie to another! I have yet to meet with the cacti , Id like to hear more about your experiences. Maybe this is the wrong forum for that , but how do cacti compare to dmt, or is there even a comparison? My guess would be more like shrooms? Obviously everything the Shaman says is Hyperspace Hyperbole

Thanks Mr_DMT! The Shaman: I have only had stronger cactus experiences a few times, and only with alcohol (to stem nausea, ok and for fun and courage I admit!). I often take smaller doses though. I'd say cactus is less visual, but once you've eaten enough the visuals are more organic and can be more lifelike. Ayahuasca is quite cartoony. Cactus also seems less frantic. It feels a little like MDMA, but weaker and without being emotionally forced in one happy direction. I've never taken enough shrooms to be able to compare properly, I'm not really a shroomy person! I think I went as far as it is possible to go with DMT, and I definitely did with salvinorin A (you pass out eventually), so I could compare those two to each other properly. But I've yet to have a full on shroom experience, and I'm not sure I've had a full on cactus experience yet... most I ever had was 40g, which is quite high if it's strong stuff but some people do go higher. I don't know what the maximum responsible dose is, but I do remember reading an Erowid report once when someone ate 65g! Don't think that had a good time though!

ahhh, well, I havent tried Mdma (im old, so I dont know anyone who would have it) but shroom experience to me can be quite varied. I will do my homework on cacti, but Im more then a bit intrigued, and thats usually when I start to seek samples Salvia is wild and Ive done some work there, Quick story: I actually shared some with a very old ex-hard core addict just today, I tried my best to prepare him, but sometimes Old dopers think they already have seen it all. well Long story short: He had what exclaimed was his most intense ,profound and frightening experience with salvia today , one big bonger of 10x in one toke. Now this guy is hardcore ,in his 60's and has done it all, looks like he has been thru the mill, ex crack head, ex Meth, ex EVERYTHING -literally. he still drinks, but hey we all need a lil something heh? He told me when he exhaled , and of course said "I dont feel anything", that instantly while looking at me, I turned into a Giant green leaf , with dozens of snake like twisting branches, at the end of each branch was my eye, and each eye had a beard like mine (LOL that one cracked me up) and that I looked upon him like a great deity as the world around him swirled into chaos and his molecules were ripped from his chest and he expanded into the cosmos. I said sounds like you might have met a entity, were you expecting that? he looked at me , like someone who just was Brought to their knees and humbled and said, "No , I was expecting a Fire cracker, but you gave me a Nuclear bomb" Powerful stuff that Salvia Nice to meet and greet my friend ~ Safe Journeys Obviously everything the Shaman says is Hyperspace Hyperbole

Mushrooms and DMT are very similar..mescaline is more different from both of them..its hard to explain..you just have to take mescaline to know..it's worth it Long live the unwoke.

I can't really contribute to the subject matter of the nursery so if I put some of my supplier revies here, please could they get transferred to the relevent threads? Or they could just stay here I guess, and I could move them myself if I get promoted one day.
Maya Ethnobotanicals:
I love this supplier. I have bought from them many times and have tried almost every psychoactive they carry and they have always given me potent stuff, often for items that others claim they get no effects from from other suppliers.
Their MHRB powder made a powerful jurema brew. I can't vouch for the efficacity of their ayahuasca, chacruna and chaliponga yet because I am having trouble getting there with those, but I'm wondering if this is because I personally need more than 50g ayahuasca to get full inhibition.
Their customer service is excellent. Once I received an email out of the blue to say that a particular batch of ayahuasca had been found to be less potent than usual and that I would be given a replacement free of charge with my next order and that in the meantime doubling the dose with the weaker batch will give desired results. This honesty really impressed me.
All packages are discrete and you can choose lots of interesting freebies when you order. I love Maya.

Thanks, I've done that, and thank your for the promotion. I'll delete them here to avoid duplification.
