The current vote is 19:1 for DMT. That says a lot about salvia. Are most people just voting for DMT because they don’t like salvia?

I dont think it says anyting abuut salvia actaully. I feel that most people dont have much experience with it personally. It requires a more thorough approach to set and setting than DMT for one thing. People approachng it wanting something akin to seratonergic psychedelics tend to get nothing from salvia..as it resembles nothing of LSD, psilocin, mescaline or DMT. I have taken salvia hundreds of times..probly more times than I have DMT..salvia puts you into a very specific and unique state of mind and you have to learn how to tune into the more subtle aspects to get the lessons.

DMT is filled with light and is a mucheaier entheogen to work with and is the one I would prefer to give to others. DMT, ayahuasca and mushrooms and mescaline are easier for most people to "get", whereas salvia confuses alot of people at first.

I wouldnt really say one is more healing than the other though..they are just completely different things that both have alot to offer when apprached in a specific way.

I vote to not vote. I dont like these one vs the other polls.

I've never tried Salvia. A friend of mine flipped out uncontrollably on it for about 3-4 hours, so we've stayed away from it. Maybe I should check it out, but as much "mind blow" as DMT with "less love" sounds like a scary proposition.

did you personally see them flip out for 3-4 hours?.. becasue that sounds like a wild exageration to me even if its taken as a quid..I can see people being sort of shaken up but smoking it lasts about 5 minutes and as a quid its nevr been more then about 30 minutes for me.

I wasn't there, it was smoked, his girlfriend was sitting. Both are close friends, and I wouldn't expect them to exaggerate. We think the trip triggered some kind of psychotic reaction.

5 minutes, really? I always thought it lasted longer than DMT.

No, not longer than DMT at all. Your friend must have some sort of chemical imbalance and probabily should stay away from psychedelics. That is definately not a normal occurance.
