Here is a trip report, from a friend of a friend:

A Profound Trip of Ecstasy and Revelation

After arriving at the festival many days early, I was armed with two packets of spice, a bag of cannabis, a vial of organic parsley, a flask of scotch, a case of beer, and a pack of cigars.

The second day, I ventured out onto the edge of a cliff, overlooking a bending river. It was nice out, with sporadic clouds, and quite warm. I loaded up my stone pipe with a small bit of spice. I was reeling with fear and anxiety. My mind was filled with tales of horror and bewilderment, of people who had very bad trips with the spice.

Yet when I took a hit, not much happened. So I tried a bit more, and then a bit more. I eventually became in tune to twirling psychedelic visuals inside my mind, which required me to close me eyes to experience. With my eyes open, I could completely visualize the three-dimensional movements of the clouds. I watched a white cloud winding whisps of itself into a much darker cloud ... it was breathtaking. It looked like the two clouds extended arms out and shook hands.

The next day I was much more ambitious, but still quite cautious. I found a secluded spot next to a river, and sat down in a chair. I loaded up my pipe with quite a bit of spice, and launched off. I kept toking and toking, inhaling more and more, lighting it up frequently. I was met with a vibrant psychedelic dimension, as though peeking my head into another section of reality, that normally existed but was just not perceived normally. I met no entities, no aliens, no gods. Yet it was beautiful and profound, and I had that signature psychedelic glow and good mood for quite a while afterwards.

The fourth day, I went fishing, and after failing to get even a nibble, decided to smoke the rest of the spice in the first packet. This session was disappointing, and nothing of note happened. A friend wandered in, hiking down the river, so we smoked a fat joint, and laughed as he came up on mushrooms. We shared a beer and headed off to join more friends on the beach.

Now, on the sixth day, this was where the real fun began. A full-fledged shamanic adventure that was at once spontaneous and epic (at least to me).

I was scheduled to play a DJ set on the main stage of the festival, on the main night, opening for the headliner. A friend offered me a variety of substances: acid, ecstasy, etc. I went for 5 squares of LSD, but he laughed and said I wouldn't need more than half of a hit. So I took half of the 5 hits, and ate 2 and a half. Little did I know they were premium grade, pure, and extremely powerful.

During the set, I started coming up. Colors were exploding and flying around me. I was so astonished that I had to put on sunglasses to avoid looking like something was wrong. Nevertheless, I banged out a smashing set, playing to a huge cheering audience. It was an unequaled feeling of accomplishment. I ended the set with a song I made and got a joyous reaction from the audience, as well as the headliner busting a move to it, that was an honor.

When I was finally done playing, I got off the stage, and danced with a half-dozen or so hot young girls at the front of the speakers. After getting tired, I decided to head off to the chillout stage. I entered the chillout stage and started having fun goofing about on the dancefloor. The floor was made of sand, so I took my shoes and socks off, and was happy feeling the dirt between my toes. I danced for an hour or so, to a very amazing chillout set - mixed by two pro DJs with dual Mac laptops running Ableton Live. I couldn't beleive what I was hearing, it was so complex and well made. When the next DJ began, most people left, so I sat down on a log to put my socks and shoes on. I must have looked pretty bizarre, because I had a multicolored pointy psychedelic hat on, blue sunglasses, torn capris, and a shirt with a visual description of psilocybin on the back, and the "ohm" symbol on the front.

That is when two girls walked up to me. One was a very pretty and the other I didnt quite make out.

"Aren't you one of the DJ's that just played on the main stage?" she asked excitedly, with a big friendly smile.

"Yes," I replied, still putting on my socks.

"We LOVED your set!" she squealed.

"Thanks!"

I finished putting my shoes on and got up. I then noticed that these two girls were very unique. One was extremely pretty, an slim Indian girl with chocolate brown skin, dressed in a skimpy cream shirt and tight jeans, her dark hair done up in a pony tail.

Her friend was quite the opposite. She was dressed in a white mesh headdress, a white gown, and her skin was covered in thick white puff makeup. She was larger proportioned, shorter, and very mystical and mysterious. On the center of the dance floor, she massaged the Indian girls' hips, as she bent over, and it was very erotic. I asked the white girl what religion she was, and she denied any, which I promptly disbelieved.

I danced around with them, and they decided to leave, pausing outside. I wanted to dance more with them, so I went out.

"Please don't leave, I'm having too much fun dancing with you!" I cried.

"We aren't leaving, we just came out to smoke a joint, and was about to ask you to join us," said the Indian girl, who was now joined by two others. One I was introduced to as their chaperone/bodygaurd, a big guy, but friendly. The other was a cute little Asian girl, wholly tripping out, and apparently the caretaker of their stash. She pulled out an expertly rolled torpedo joint and swiftly gave it to me, to which I lovingly inhaled!

I now decided this girl was an Indian Princess. Who else has a chaperone, a stash carrier, and a massager/sage? It was bizarre. She then asked me to accompany her to another stage where another headline DJ was playing. I was more than happy to oblige. I had to hold her hand so that she didn't trip and fall. I was also more than happy to oblige that too.

She had put on a large feather hat, which made her look even more regal and like royalty. She also looked stunningly hot. I was engaged to a beautiful girl back home, so I had no intention of cheating, but still... I didn't have a ring on my finger, so I could have some fun with anyone I wanted to, I reasoned.

"I only have one rule for dancing," I told her. "Dont touch my hat."

"I have the same rule," she laughed. "No one touches my hat."

With that hat on, she looked like a million bucks. It was like being in the presence of royalty. Of an angel. I couldn't believe it. We got to the stage, and she had a "what the hell" moment, and dragged me away from her crew to go dance with me alone in the throng of people.

The beats were intense, the DJ had massive dreads, and I was fully tripping on the LSD. She was coming up on mushrooms, and gave me a pin on my shirt: "COMING UP!". I was so happy, and danced like a total madman, and after we dirty danced for a bit, her sage came up and gave us the "no no" look, breaking us up. Yet we still danced for a while, and after an hour or so, we parted ways. Not before she told me she was alot like "George Castanza" from Seinfeld, which I thought was touching, so I told her to watch "Curb Your Enthusiasm", which she had never heard of. I hope to meet her again some day. On the way out, I asked out loud: "That DJ was unreal. Was that Jesus? He had Jesus hair." People laughed.

After heading back to the main stage, I danced more. I danced so passionately and so perfectly that I was attracting scores of people. Fellow dancers stared at me. Girls surrounded me and gave me seductive looks. It was like I was a magnet, because my dancing was so over the top and friendly. The LSD was pure, and I was in tune with the vibration of the music, of reality, of the Cosmic Vibe. I danced with more and more girls and then got bored, so I headed back up to my campsite.

From my campsite I could hear the music perfectly, wafting across the river valley. I took out my pipe and loaded it with a big amount of spice, mixed with organic parsley. I proceeded to smoke as much as I could, until I couldn't smoke any longer.

That is when it hit me. BAM!!! Full on shamanic ecstasy! It was at this moment that my third eye became "squeegeed open", to quote Bill Hicks. I went and lay down in my tent, took off my hat and sunglasses, and felt the sun permeating through me.

My mind was overcome with visuals now, more vibrant than I had ever experienced, completely alive and more colorful than any plasma television. I saw the heart of reality, pumping, five valves, each working on something else. On one side of the heart was good, but another valve exposed itself to reveal the shit, the waste and trash, the bugs and turmoil, all the crap that goes on to facilitate the good pumping out the other side.

I was overwhelmed with beauty, swirling colors like a painting being made before my very eyes, but changing in real time, as though it were alive. Fractals upon fractals morphed into hot chicks with seductive swaying asses and flowing hair, turning into vegetation and beams of light and color. It was just endless awe and beauty. The combination of the DMT and LSD was perfect.

I felt the presence of God. Then I felt the presence of the "machine elves". They had "discovered" me. Arranged in a pentagram shape, five of these elves fractalized into my vision, inspecting and examining me. At first they were so happy and overjoyed, as if: "We discovered another one! Look!!!" I had never experienced the elves before. They seemed to say: "This one is really interesting!"

They began to probe me. They asked me to open my eyes. I did. My vision was fairly normal. I opened and closed them again. All good. They examined my emotions, my near past. When they found something sad, they wept with unimaginable sadness, causing me to weep too. When they found something good, they screamed in delight, and I cried in happiness. I was so happy. I asked them to please heal me, please heal me...

I felt the presence of God again. I began to be witness to God's plan. I can only describe it this way: I understood, for a long moment, just how complex a plan it was. I could not see what lay ahead, or even in the present, just that God had planned this all out somehow, and it was mind-bogglingly complicated, so much so, that I was humbled into submission. I froze. It is too hard for me to explain now, especially days later writing this, I barely feel like I remember what it was I understood. It was like being shown how puny my intellect was in comparison to this grand master planner.

I felt like God was probing the people there. That God was here, giving attention and blessings to many of the people there that day. But God was not simply a kind loving being. God was everything. EVERYTHING. God was uncomprimising. I begged God to focus on me. "Please God, heal me, help me, show me my path."

It took a while, but I felt that God gave me a brief look over. It felt like my mind was a screen made of stretchy fabric, and that a round flashlight was being pushed against it. When it hit me, I cried in joy. I bawled in happiness. Tears upon tears streamed out of me, it was ridiculous how much I cried. I felt God look at me, and decide my fate. I was not afraid. I lived a decently moral life. I wanted to be judged by God. I told God, "God, I am on your side, even if you aren't on mine." It was so brief, I felt used. I felt like God should have given me a larger audience. Yet, it was more like God gave me less than a second of time, and that was all that God needed.

The problem with this amazing experience is that it continued on for hours. Even though the DMT had probably been gone from my system, it had facilitated my inner vision so effectively that it stayed on. After a while I began to tire of it. Yet it would not stop. In the end I was so exhausted that I slept for two days, and am still sore from the dancing.

Since this adventure I have felt inspired, confident, and happy. It's not a path for everyone, yet I recommend it to anyone with an interest. I have some words of wisdom though: do not ever do any large amount of drugs that are not 100% pure and safe, and that you or someone you trust has tested. It is not worth it. Patience is a virtue, and it is key here. You cannot rush into a shamanic voyage, you must prepare, for years and years, if need be. Otherwise you will harm yourself and by extension those around you. It is never worth destroying your mind to get a glimpse of the divine. There are safe ways to go about it, and that is what I did, and hope you do too.

I also recommend a sunny daytime trip. There is something about the sun that brings out the best visuals and experiences. The strange thing is, with a hat on, or sunglasses, the visuals are significantly diminished. If you trip at night, well, then you are going to get the night time vibe. That may be for you, but I prefer the lighter side of life.

Really nice story Smile

Do you know which Festival it was ?
Had he more quickly realized just who they were,he would have shown them more respect.Had he tried harder to fathom their brilliant minds,he would have taken more of their teachings to heart.Had he more clearly understood the purpose of their being,
he would have more vigorously tried to assist them. They were truly honorable; he was sadly prejudiced.
They were exceedingly well informed; he was grossly ignorant. They were totally indefatigable; he so often, and so quickly, gave up. Still, for many years there was a strong inter-species alliance between the Eleven-Eleven of the Half-way Realm, their Seraphic Associates, and their flesh-and-blood friend, a common mortal. Much was accomplished, many profited, and, there’s only one regret...They could have achieved so much more...
