Edited on 08. july:
The first idea to interpret the experience as "Life is a dream, and you are God having the dream!" and SWIM has done a mistake that he took DMT and now knows something he should not ever have known is not helpful and leads to psychosis. SWIM understands now the roots of his psychosis: he is afraid of being alone, and he is afraid of having done a horrible mistake.

What DMT actually did to SWIM, is it has fully exposed all his beliefs and excuses to him very self. DMT has shown SWIM not the nature of reality but the nature of his perception of that reality, the essence of which: "It is up to you what to believe!". Proof: a person cannot see through skin or through walls on DMT. It just alters perception!

SWIM chose to believe in life, to believe in good. His choice is to bring love and light into lives of other people!
He has chosen to allow life to be a mystery and has let go of the desire to figure life out.

The text below is the original post. If set in wrong context and experienced, it may cause depression as described.

All the theories written before (e. g. here) are just a production of SWIM’s imaginative mind which is eager to create theories. Ultimately, it comes down to the fact, that SWIM is God having a dream. This is his dream. That is why SWIM felt alone as he awakened of that dream. Now that he knows it, his dream has become lucid.

This realization has a lot of objectivity to it. fnog9 writes here:
fnog9 wrote:
(…) All of a sudden, for what reason I don't know.... I just...... woke up. I said, "Oh my God!" I'm awake. It was me the entire time.... it was LITERALLY me the whole time. Everything, the whole universe... literally a story that I made up. I made up the story that I am this person, I made up the story that there are cities, and I live on earth. I made up this thing called life and death. It was me the whole time. Every thought I've ever had and everything that's ever happened, it was all me, and its all been leading up to this very moment RIGHT NOW!! and NOW! AND NOW!! And it all must end... now. This is your death, I thought. It was all you, the entire time, and it all ends now. You didn't really take a drug, that was just a symbol, that was part of the story too, and there is no escape now.

It was all made up.... what a PERFECT ending. What a magnificent perfect ending. I knew right then that there was literally no such thing as death, I didn't know whether I was "alive" or dead. I stopped breathing, and yet I kept coming back to life. This realization that "it was always me" was both the most joyous, unimaginably ecstatic experience, and at the same time the most terrifying thing imaginable. Upon reflection, perhaps the reason it is terrifying is because what the realization means for the person experiencing this. It means I am completely alone forever, there is no escape from eternity, and the realization places all responsibility on me. Literally, it felt as though the fate of the entire universe rested on my shoulders in a single moment, and the suffering of all sentient beings. It can feel like a burden. And in that moment, I felt as though I had to express the love of the entire universe all at once. It was overwhelming. (…)

SWIM has reported his friend’s trip here some time ago: https://dmt-nexus.me/for...aspx?g=posts&t=11618
In the report, one important thing he has not mentioned, since it did not appear to be worth mentioning at that time. But SWIM clearly remembers this important detail. His friend reported, while being in that state, that he was ALONE! He was in a dimension where all things happened at the same time and he was ALONE! No souls, no hell, no paradise... Just him! We have contemplated together on the experience but could not integrate it properly and ended up with the theory that he ended up in some dimension “between dimensions” where he was alone with no guides and no other worlds present. In other words he has not moved deep enough into the hyperspace to experience other worlds which was the ultimate purpose of spice in SWIM’s understanding at that time. Now he knows better.

While SWIMs here report how horrifying this experience was and some of them commit to never touch spice again, SWIM’s friend has done it over and over again! He had even sort of fun dying on DMT, while the first experience was indeed extremely horrifying to him. His first experience was in fact his very first breakthrough! Later SWIM’s friend managed to visit another world with the help of suggestion and the acceptance that he must let go of his visual senses since he cannot see those worlds with his physical eyes.

Finally, there is a video on YouTube where this truth is communicated. Back then, SWIM thought it was some metaphor, but it is meant it the most literal sense you can ever imagine:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NrhXLVo_i5g

Putting all pieces together, the ultimate perspective to the world is as follows:
There is one and only God that is, has always been and will always be. God consciousness resides outside of space and time, thus the whole concept of time space reality with a beginning and an end is of no relevance to God.

God decided to experience himself. For that he created a time space reality and placed an observer within this world, which is still him. Similarly, a programmer creates a virtual reality, a computer game, and a car (in case of a race game) which he, the programmer, can move inside the world he has created to experience his world from the car perspective. The point of this experience is that it is more exciting than just seeing the race map with all the trees from above. If a gamer immerges into the game, he may forget the world around him, which is considered as normal and paid no attention to in regard how similar this is to the real life. Like in a computer game, there are rules that are not to be broken; otherwise the game will lose its point. Remember how it feels when you know all the cheats!

The challenging thing about the game of life is to wrap your mind around the concept of overlapping dreams: every conscious participant in our world is the very same God dreaming! He has multiple dreams at the very same time. Remember, there is no time in his realm, thus he can enter the dream reality, which our is physical reality, at any point in space and time.

There is the idea in spirituality that we are all connected. It goes much deeper: we are all the very same entity having a simultaneous dream!

Look how often great people embed this truth in their works of art. In the Matrix Neo have been shot and died. At this point he fully remembers that he is God just dreaming! At this stage it is important to find your way back to the right dream, which is why it is important to have a friend telling you that you are not dead or to have memories of people that you love. This is consistent with the situation there: Trinity tells Neo that she loves him and helps him, by doing so, to come back to his dream! And he chooses to take this memory with him. Now he knows that he dreams and in the virtual matrix reality and, later, even in the physical reality, he can do whatever he chooses!

In "Alice in Wonderland", there is just the same message! "Vanilla Sky": same message! "Avatar": related message (our real world bodies are avatars). "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus" comes pretty close to it...

It is however not smart to slap truth of this kind right in the face of the audience. That is why filmmakers always create separate worlds to which the truth is applied (virtual reality in "The Matrix", Pandora in "Avatar", the dream world in "Alice in Wonderland", lucid dream in "Vanilla Sky" ). Then, the audience should decide to what degree they want to apply this idea to their physical world. It is not that they are not ready to know the truth but must have the choice to what degree they choose to be conscious of the fact that life is a dream of one and only God.
Life is a mystery. Enjoy every moment of it.
Do not try to figure it out.

Yes, if you get to a point where you realize that "you are God", it is a completely literal message in every way. Unfortunately, when many people hear, "you are God", they take it as the most egotistical thing a person could possibly say. But it's not like that at all. When you get to that point when you realize, "you are God", you realize there is a higher intelligence within you that created the very idea of God. YOU literally made it all up.

And the video makes a beuatiful point. It says that "they" don't want you to know this truth. They don't want you to know because THEY would have no chance at survival. He sets it up as if he's going to reveal some conspiracy about how other people are keeping you from the truth, and to the listener, it's like, "here we go, who's he going to blame this time." But then he reveals the beautiful truth again. THEY are the forces within YOU that don't want truth. It's not anyone else keeping you from truth, it's you.

I think all consciousness in the universe are just the different parts of 'god'. As in, the universe together is 'god', not a separate being. We are god and when we die we are god. We just go back into the energy of the cosmos. Death on DMT is like melting into the universe for me. Complete synesthasia of all my senses into the fabric of space/time and energy. I find that to be a telling thing.

Ahh, what a wonderful dream it is, playing hide and seek with ourself! Very happy

Esoteric Agenda and Kymatica are two enjoyable videos. I think the majority of that one you posted was from Esoteric Agenda. If you haven't seen his second one, Kymatica I highly recommend it.

Thanks for sharing your insights, always good to hear of another waking up to thier true nature.
What, you ask, was the beginning of it all?
And it is this...

Existence that multiplied itself
For sheer delight of being
And plunged into numberless trillions of forms
So that it might
Find
Itself

I've had this understanding of thought for some time as well. When you are with your friends talking, there is only one experiencing being from multiple perspectives, coming together to share time, opinion, beliefs, and information, amongst itself. When you look into the eyes of someone else it is just another you. Liberating. One source of God. Many different experiences amongst itself. Absolute collective consciousness oneness.

Better not let the masses know, its hard to profit off of people that see through the illusion of separateness and are caring for eachother/ourselves, the I. But it'll catch-on eventually, change will continue =]

Excellent post!

This resonates a lot with SWIMs last breakthrough.

If you don't already have it, get the book "Being Human" by Martin W. Ball.. He goes into more detail on the concept of literally being God, and how to be more authentic as humans.

There is no duality. There is only One, and it is EVERYTHING!

Does not the content of one's mind influence the experience one has on drugs or even in dreams? The Perennial Philosophy is as common to this forum as sand is to the beach, so is it any wonder people experience this truth while tripping? Hang out at a smurf forum, if there is such a thing, and who knows, you might start tripping about smurfs and conclude they are the ones behind the mystery of existence.

What happens when you have this understanding when you are not tripping, or was not induced by a trip?

This phenomenon might just be the result of our biology - having two almost distinct brains. If the left brain was some how isolated, it might somehow produce this God mode feeling. Now since Buddha and Jesus and all the other mystics had no way of understanding neuro science, they interpreted the sensation of becoming one with God/Universe. Thus the meme has been propogated and reconfirmed when experienced by those who use hallucinogens.

Interesting rationalization. But I see this theme being played out in many different places, among many different groups of people, some with no previous familarity or understanding of this meme.

It is not merely a feeling (right brain), or hallucination. It is a deep philosophical understanding (left brain)...where in this case 1 + 1 = 1 Wink

It's possible to see this all from a completely materialistic point of view - without losing any of its significance -, if we see this work with psychedelics (and ultimately, our entire life) as an attempt to calibrate our brain chemistry in such a way that it becomes optimal ( staying with the materialistic perspective, let's say that "optimal" is the configuration which is best suited to the "me" ).

Let's assume there are numerous possible configurations available. Through our experiments, we are trying to find the best configuration possible. Each such configuration is put to a test in everyday life. Beliefs in smurf mythology may also be accepted as a good configuration if that makes our reality workable (supplies us with usable ideas that let us work with the problems our reality throws at us). Our physical reality provides us with the testing lab.

Perhaps there is a philosophy which is "endogenous" to the human body (mind), just like DMT is. If we can uncover that, and use that as our reality controller, then our realities may become "aligned" with Reality. That's what we are searching for here.

For three days after the horror trip, SWIM still has the feeling that he is alone and has invented everything in his past and present life. Even if he talks to other people, the thinks that he is talking to himself. Each positive coincidence proves to him that he is having a lucid dream.

This is called drug psychosis and is a very complex psychical disorder. While to some this might seem as a great spiritual realization, its effect is a strong depression.

SWIM has thrown away all his spice reserves. He is going to undergo a psychiatric treatment if he should not manage to find a way out of his psychosis.

Guys, be careful with the spice. At some point, SWIM has lost respect for the spice. For that, he experiences a severe punishment now.

SWIM is glad that he is able to share this with the community, since DMT is considered as not dangerous by most of the users. For SWIM it has caused psychosis with depression. This shows that spice is extremely dangerous.

Very sorry to hear Live. But very happy to hear you are seeking help. No one said (to my knowledge), that DMT is necessarily safe... in fact, it's dangers are pretty much spelled out in the Health & Safety section. I am so sorry this happened to you - it is my personal worst nightmare. And one I relive over and over again, but fortunately pull out of. Seek help, remain just and true, and you shall too.

And if you read this, could you undelete your original post - it will help others understand and encourage them to read to the end to get to your warning.

Peace and luck,

JBArk
JBArk is a Mandelthought; a non-fiction character in a drama of his own design he calls "LIFE" who partakes in consciousness expanding activities and substances; he should in no way be confused with SWIM, who is an eminently data-mineable and prolific character who has somehow convinced himself the target he wears on his forehead is actually a shield.

My oral DMT trips often turn into a solipsistic fantasy. I am the creator of everything, no one is real, they are all my self reflections. Pretty intense stuff. Fortunately after the trip clears I am left with the memory and marvel at its unusual character and its logical strengths. I often wondered if having that type of trip too many times can start to gnaw away at my ability to function in everyday life. Thanks, Live, for the warning. I hope you are able to snap out of it and get back to your normal wavelengths. Psychosis is a fucking bitch. I went through a week of it as a teenager after some heavy doses of RCs.

I think you really learned something here. And I really hope that your story will play out right.

At my first (and only) such experience, God showed me how it all works. It was not my construction, I was just a watcher, a vessel for the teaching. After this trip, I got into a very serious ego game, I became like some "psychedelic fascist". I wanted to get back there *at all costs*. I wanted to understand. I thought that I can wrap my mind around it again. Realization according to MY understanding.

Do you see the difference? Being given the knowledge by grace, automatically, beautifully, harmoniously, when you are ready for it, at the right time vs. taking it, robbing it, stealing it because I want it, I need it, I'm thirsty or I cannot have enough?

Fortunately, I was denied entrance to these worlds ever since, purposefully. I had to walk the path in darkness, to collect the memories one by one and realizing all of it here on Earth, with seemingly no extrasensory help whatsoever. When I'm tripping, all I have is a distant connection, a feeling for those "places". As if the elves were making this party in the main hall, and I am closed into the toilet, with my ears on the wall, so that perhaps I can catch something of what's happening over there.

Before that, I had no idea what the word "humility" means. Now I know.

I’m speaking from my own experiences, but I’m sure others have come to a similar conclusion:

Some of us understand something very simple: there are no answers. There is only eternal mystery. DMT is not about getting answers, or having wishes fulfilled, or about changing the world. It’s definitely not about discovering (or being shown) “ultimate truths”.

DMT allows us to participate in the eternal mystery. To become a part of it. To realize that we are already a part of it. To realize that we have always been a part of it.
gibran2 is a fictional character. Any resemblance to anyone living or dead is purely coincidental.
