Hi travelers, My first post here. I've been reading the site for a while. One thing I noticed about all forums related to DMT is the people. I'm not sure if DMT attacts a certain personality or iwhat. What I mean is that there is no agro, no ego, just well written helpful informative posts. Highly unusual in this crazy world. Anyway I was down the park today and met a guy who just happened to be into DMT himself. What a co-incidence that was. I thought I'de post about it, despite concerns about Big Brother (who tries to prevent us from acheiving these kind of freedoms and truths with our minds.), but we can't let that stop important free speech and research. He was telling me how he found out he has Acacia Longifolia all around his place but hasn't got any other source of DMT available. He thought maybe the Longifolia might be the key to the gate he was looking for. So he did an extract on the bark of an old tree. Using the old bark from the trunk (the old bits where almost coming off already, so he used them) he did the acid / vinegar / defat / basification / extract, over a few days. At first he thought he hadn't cleaned the glass dish as he saw lots of little bits that looked like sand, but maybe that was the start of the magic crytals ? Using a razor blade to group them up resulted in them turning into oil. The was lots of oil. It had a very unqiue, almost sickly smell. He tried smoking the oil mixed with the little sand bits. The first time nothing much happend but he didn't use much, incase it was nasty, next time nothing much happened either, then the last time he soaked rosemary in the oil and smoked lots over 60 seconds. The smoke was mild. He felt something. He felt kind of wavey like he was osolating and so was the whole room, but it didn't last long, maybe 20 seconds and then he felt kinda stoned and sort of removed and even kind of lonely. He dosn't think it was placebo because his eyes looked strange aswell (beedy). He now has the last 2 extracts in the freezer to try and get rid of the oil, because he worked out you don't really smoke the oil. Do you think he is heading in the right direction ... does that sound like DMT ? The colour of the oil and the extract is completely clear, no tinge at all. Maybe it was just something else in the oil that gaze that brief feeling. Perhaps he will try an extract from the leaf of the longifolia rather than the bark ? rightangle

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

Hi It sounds like your friend got a taste. Probably just a low dose. If it were legal and I had access to a lot of acacia, I'd take samples of different parts of the plant, young and old, and run extractions on them. Then I would post the results. Welcome to the forum.

Entheogens do seems to attract interesting people and it is great to see a lot of cooperation and not too much ego--aside from an occasional flare up Rolling eyes but that can happen to anyone seeing as how we're all people. Wink Welcome to the Nexus! -z

Thanks Zhah Smile I guess there has been an occasional flare up hehe, but it dosn't seem to spiral down into the dirt too far. I guess it's all about trying to turn the cheek, and trying to stop the cylce of tit for tat at some point.
