IT is not that I am looking to go to sleep but I like the idea of adding a calming element that may help in general with some of the occasional mild-anxiety that can be present while coming-up, and some of the physical squirming that one can experience when the spice is kicking in.
I feel there must be something synergistic that could be added that would just add that additional element of relaxation and balance some of the tendency, also, to have the electric chakra cleansing kriyas etc.
However, of course, these spontaneous cleansing movements are not something that one probably wants to subdue; but it would also be interesting if the experience could be adjusted to where the physical body could be more of a spectator rather than a participant in the experience.
Even if just for alternative approaches to complement more physical journeys.
Pharma is relatively new to SWIM, as the first Spice concentrates have only just because available for experimentation.
Maybe one key is to make sure the Harmala dose is sufficient to where the body becomes more relaxed.
Another idea is Harmaline instead, or in addition to Caapi harmaloids.
Then there are things like Datura Inoxia; would this be a worthy addmixture? I realize Datura Stramonium is recommended for Nausea.
What about Valerian, or Kava (also a MAOI?)?
Does anyone have any suggestions for add-mixtures that might effectively relax the body more?
Thanks knowledgeable ones for any help toward this idea. BE WELL...

A small amount of Datura inoxia (about 1-5 seeds) orally is good for this. It relaxes you without bringing the trip down. Doses of D. inoxia higher than 10 seeds a day should be avoided. Passionflower is also good for this. Passionflower is extremely safe even in high doses. Harmaline is a sedative, and also good for this. Some people actually prefer harmaline over the others, for this very reason. Stay away from mixing kava with MAOIs. And don’t take kava with any datura. Valerian relaxes the mind, not the body, so it won’t do much I think. Of these, I would put Datura inoxia and passionflower at the top of the list. They can also be used together. Have you tried chamomile?
Experience has found that strong chamomile tea (like 4-6 tea bags) absolutely takes the edge off of psilocin and is highly relaxing, even a bit euphoric. It's up to you if you want to try it, and what method of ingestion you'd like to use. Though I'd be glad to answer any questions about it.

Chamomile tea does the opposite for me. It makes me energetic. So that’s why I didn’t mention it. You may remember me as 69Ron. You can also try non chemical methods, Mantra reciting, meditation, drum beating or rattle shaking, any of these are used. A Mapacho cigarette is also used, and I can verify that it DOES calm down the come up...other than that, maybe some blue lotus or wild lettuce (in small amounts 5g/brew, tops). I cannot vouch for the safety of wild lettuce (opium lettuce) and MAOI's, but I have used the two extensively together without any issue. Mapacho on the other hand has a long history of use with Ayahuasca. Acolon, you just reminded me of lotus. I heartily recommend blue lotus as well! It can be ingested or smoked. If ingested, I would suggest ingesting the plant material directly instead of a tea from it, because it gives me much better results. Of course, if you like the taste/ritual/experience of drinking blue lotus tea, you could make the tea and then consume the dregs from making the tea as well. That's how I consume ginger for getting rid of nausea.
On the subject of blue lotus, its good friend Calea zacatechichi is also quite calming to many people. As with blue lotus, it can either be consumed orally or smoked, or both. Just be prepared for some interesting dreams if you fall asleep after consuming Calea. Also, just like Ron finds chamomile stimulating, and my sister gets hyper from taking Benadryl instead of sleepy, there are some people out there who are not calmed, or who are even stimulated by Calea. So if you have the option to do so, I'd suggest trying some out before buying a large amount.
If you're interested in this sort of thing, Calea makes an excellent ethnobotanical to grow oneself. It's SO rewarding to grow herbs like that, and it's ridiculously easy to care for. You just about can't kill the thing unless you overwater it for weeks. It isn't the prettiest of plants unless you're really good at pruning it in the right places at the right times, but it's very kind to experienced and inexperienced gardeners alike.
