I think it will be some simple discovery like this that will change the world in the near future...

I'm still not quite clear on the possibility of the reality of bubble fusion, but it's an interesting concept. Regardless, the sheer heat produced in such a simple process offers vast potential for its application, or so it would seem.

Further research into the matter has been rather troubling and has uncovered a veritable shit-fight within the world of physics research, nicknamed "bubblegate." Seems like a young conspiracy theory in the making. Even the video seems to be a simple excerpt from a documentary in which the researchers actually debunk the claims of this process producing fusion.

The internet is a strange place...

if everyone would just get the idea out of their head that its impossible or very difficult to produce fusion then we'd have it pretty soon as a species. Theres something
about the idea of having access to infinite energy which the mind seems to reject automatically. Its the way we're programmed: things run out, there aren't enough
blah blah. What we must do is overcome this fear and get on with enjoying a time of huge prosperity!

Anyway, I bet a squillion squillion dollars that someone, somewhere, has already discovered cold fusion and has been killed for their trouble.
