Hello to the members of the forum!
I hail from the UK and recently began my first journey into psychedelics a couple days ago. A little about myself, I've always had a curiosity or should I say fear with what happens when we die. The thought of nothingness terrified me as much as living infinitely. As I've grown older and wiser at the grand age of 37 that fear has lessened but my curosity has not. DMT has always intrigued me since learning about how it maybe involved in near death experiences. Being in a wheelchair I wanted a sense of being free from the chair for a moment in time with the bonus of seeing what is beyond.
Not sure if this is the area to post my positive experience with DMT so I will leave for the other area or I can share here if you would like.

majypoo, Welcome to the Nexus. It sounds like you have begun a grand adventure at a good point in your life. Your perspective was well explained. So, what did you make of your first psychedelic experience? The implication is that DMT was involved. I would love to read about it. And the best place is probably here First Steps in HyperspaceAgain, a warm welcome to you. "But even if nothing lasts and everything is lost, there is still the intrinsic value of the moment. The present moment, ultimately, is more than enough, a gift of grace and unfathomable value, which our friend and lover death paints in stark relief."-Rick Doblin, Ph.D. MAPS President, MAPS Bulletin Vol. XX, No. 1, pg. 2Hyperspace LOVES YOU
