I wasnt quite sure where to put this - the experiences section says - DMT-Experiences, so i thought this was more valid.

Fungal experiences i find quite difficult to put into words as the story is not always linear, but heres an attempt at describing a part of last nights journey anyway.

Copelandia/Paneolus Cyanensis were consumed for the first time.

When the visions came they were of quite a different nature, they seemed to suck me in, in a strange way unnoted before on fungus.
Of the many visions, the one that i felt i took the fungus to experience went as follows :

I was in the sky observing a bird, it flew in a figure of 8, i had to concentrate hard to move with it.
Then i was the bird(a memory) and i flew the full figure of 8, as soon as i had completed it once i felt as if i had locked it as a symbol and now could understand its meaning.
The glowing orange/yellow symbol of a modified figure of 8 was burned into me as some sort of symbol i can use when i want to to invoke a certain feeling.
As a bird i repeated the 8 faster and faster - higher and higher gaining altitude, i broke thru the top layer of the storm clouds into the bright sunny blue skied clarity above.
I tried to go higher but the air was too thin, so i glided back down half way to earth and back into my body.

That symbol now is almost like a mantra, its a sign of me raising my head above the water, taking a breath, admiring the beauty, then diving back down to continue ever foreward.

Thanks for sharing...cool and interesting experience. And Pan/Copelandia cyanescens are special mushrooms.

Its interesting as this figure of 8 symbol, the leminscate, is a symbol representing infinty as I'm sure you are aware. It is interesting that you were kinda taught how to use it, as I'm aware that it is used in bee shamanism as a meditational exercise (I think one starts the ritual by making the figure of 8 symbol with one's finger).

I drew the scene after the peak and looking at it today - a double helix like pattern is visible by the flight path in an upwards direction.

Beautiful vision Phlux. Thank you for relaying it.

I'm looking forward to trying my first pan cyans in a couple months.

Phlux- you are so lucky
I would LOVE to take some of them of the land

Making plans to grow some azurescens on wood chips.
But little low on budget as of lately. So guess will have to wait for next spring.

pans are great.
they're my answer to those who claim that lsd is more powerful than mushrooms.

as you probably already know, pans are rich in psilocin

This is strange,

I always either read or hear people saying how amazing pans are, however for SWIM they are the most horrid mushrooms out there! He's tried them in all sorts of dosages from 1-5 grams mainly outdoors and they are always a recipe for disaster!

Pan cyans and pan trops is a sure-fire recipe for bad trips, at least fore SWIM. He doesn't know why that may be - he either suspects a personal sensitivity to them or his substrate which has (almost always) been horse poo.

Phlux, how did you or SWIY grow the pans?

Very nice. Infinity is a strange concept, one we don't truely understand... But the question remains: Even though you know that the possibilities are endless, which path will you choose for youself?
