is this topic still active? just found your ideas and teks these days. after two years of not doing any extractions i got quite alot of new mhrb, so before i started with new extractions i read alot to impove my stb routine... and wow, your salt idea sounds very interesting.
i was also very surprised about the huge amount of NaHO you use. i used way less before (water to mhrb ratio: 1:10 / NaHO to mhrb ratio: 1:5).
im testing your suggestion of a 15 water : 1 lay : 1 mhrb : 1 salt ratio right now...
then going to test my old ratio with the salt addition and compare the yield. what do you guys think about the amount of salt in this one? same as mhrb maybe? this is what i would have started from.
í´m testing this to try to reduce the usage of lay - just for ecological and economical reasons.
íll keep you updated on my testings, happy about any suggestions in the meanwhile.

Dies anyone have tried tobpit it first in the fridge for a couple of hours
And than in the freezer for 24 hours it should increase the yield
According to tripsitter.com i think it does bit mayne that's just in my minds
Any thoughts?
