... are all highly successful musicians also inherently spiritual leaders, like what jesus woz?
are these people living at a level of "mastery", or have they just done everything to ensure that
their music got to the top?

Please approach the question from a scientific and logical point of view, being as breif as possible.

Musicians and other artists statistically have a bigger right-brain activity than other people. The left brain hemisphere is rational, objective, analytical and looks at parts - while the right hemisphere is intuitive, subjective, creative and looks at the whole. The right hemisphere is also where you find the reason behind - or the symptom of - spirituality. One can therefore argue that yes, musicians and other creative artists are statistically more spiritual than other people.

This does, of course, not mean that all artists are spiritual, or that all spiritual people are artists.

Very interesting that, left-right brain argument...
I just meant from like, the point of view of a concert or so-on,
so many people hear their message; like the bible only smaller scale.

Ah, I'm sorry I didn't understand you! Well, of course musicians have a big ability to influence people and their views on the world, an ability that can be seen upon as spiritual. So does also everyone else viewed as an authority on anything. I think, however, that musicians are in the top notch here, as music moves something deep within us. Music was one of, if not the, first way(s) of communicating. The influence music has on us is rooted very very deep in us.

I therefore do not like most of the rap, death metal and other hugely negative genres. Because of the lyrics and the dark energies in the songs, people do get affected. Perhaps they don't go out to kill someone because "the song told me to", but the song does still affect them. The same goes for many other things, of course, such as violent movies, people with bad language, police brutality, et cetra.

I think you are correct that musicians can be viewed as spiritual "leaders" (I believe authority is a better word here), if they do indeed promote good ideas or positive energies with their music.

Well, people have absoloute free will to choose what type of music they listen to, follow, and prescribe to.
Are goths 'bad' because they are 'negative'? mm, some might argue that they are more equipped to deal with the suffering in life. In my experience though, they also love it.

Anyway, Picture Maxi Jazz, naked sweaty negro skin, pumping the ancient bassdrum of neo-primitivty. Dido, unshealths a shimmering riff of light from her nord workstation, a mechano-electrical window to the highest feelings of the soul, the soul of us all.

Im glad I could show you the point of view I was getting at, Evening glory.
