It's crazy funny how many folk here think recent movies they've seen make allusions to dmt. Everything I post is made up fiction. SWIM represents a character who is not based in or on reality.

I've seen the movie, it's a great fantasy film. Everything I post is made up fiction. SWIM represents a character who is not based in or on reality.

Quote from the film (on describing the imaginarium): It is.... It's impossible to describe... It is a mystery, it's everything, it's you, it's me, it's us. It is the universe, behind our mirror Oh great - the world has just been replaced by elf machinery. Sic transit gloria mundi

He was so frustrated with trying to explain something everyone had NO idea about. I sure know how that feels! It was great watching this film, knowing there are others out there!

I'm irked that I haven't heard of this until now. Yay for new discoveries! HAHAHA @ the title of this thread. That was exactly my reaction when I saw the movie. I laughed, I cried, I snorted, it was like a DMT trip just being in the theater. There's such an explosion of consciousness in these recent movies that I find myself wondering how close our society may potentially be to a mass shift in consciousness at some level. This has to be one of my top 3 favorites of the last couple years. I love the film. recently SWIM and a buddy decided to take some 2-CB, we necked it as soon as we left the dealers house, and then sped back to home city fear and loathing style. By the time we'd hit the roundabouts on the outskirts of edinburgh ...the drugs began to take hold. anyway, so we're tripping around in the house watching dr parnassus and Im looking up at the ceiling, getting these mad swirling visuals in the textured walpaper; concentric circles that'd go one way and then the other.... and the messenger boy from dr parnassus's imaginarium is saying stuff like "you see, you... you.... you think you're not a part of this, yuh see... you...." and I was almost wetting myself with egoless delight. shoe
