So I just found some interesting mug warmers that can heat up to around 130-150f depending on the settings. Would they work during the extraction? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rwt2unRvHWMThey basically function as a laboratory warmer, and can work for several hours. Don't think that heating 500-1000ml in a glass/borosilicate bottle will be a problem for it

I have a nearly irrational and borderline obsessive fear of my vessel cracking while being heated and dying everything in the vicinity, so I’ma pretty big fan of a sink full of hot water to fulfill that purpose, but i don’t see a reason why it wouldn’t work… Sine experientia nihil sufficienter sciri potest -Roger Bacon *γνῶθι σεαυτόν*

I like that the vessel is in another vessel in case breaks like these occur, because they do happen. One love What if the "truth" is: the "truth" is indescernible/unknowable/nonexistent? Well, one can always place the heater inside something else to avoid that, use borosilicate bottles, or even use an extra water bath between the mix bottle and the heater But I don't see why this would happen here, since the surface of the heater doesnt reach so high temperatures!

No doubt on both counts. I was thinking if the vessel was placed directly on the pad. Give it a shot. What's wrong with a stovetop? Put some water in a pot, put a little wire spacer on the bottom, and plop your jar on top. Always worked for me. Actually I didn't even use a spacer cause I didn't have one, and my glass vase (er—extraction vessel) held up fine. I don't want comfort. I want God, I want poetry, I want real danger, I want freedom, I want goodness. I want a clever signature.
