freebase harmalas is ok to smoke Smile
it's also easy to convert back to salt form by simply adding acidified water

If putting it in a capsule for oral use, it makes quite a difference. For that you should use the hydrochlorides or another highly water soluble salt, like the acetates. There's some mention of poking a hole in the capsule to make it work better with freebase alkaloids. SWIM never tried the hole idea, but others swear by it.

But even them, it’s always better to pre-dissolve them in acidic water for oral use. Nothing works better than pre-dissolved alkaloids. In that case it doesn’t really matter if you have freebase or not because the freebase will become a salt when added to acidic water. A lot of people use lemon or orange juice as the acid. It works very well. But if you plan on using just water, then of course you need a salt form (HCl, or acetate).

hey ron, do you happen to know if it's ok to smoke thh hcl? I've already vaped a small amount <5mg, but it was ineffective for the most part and then I got concerned that it was in hcl form rather than thh freebase so I didn't smoke more... mainly interested in using thh hcl in changa blends.
all posts are fictional

I'm sorry, I don't know. But a friend says that THH acetate (the kind available in the tincture) is smokeable.

awesome man glad you had success Smile

I like keeping the harmalas as freebase because its purer than the hcl from the salt precipitation, and when I want to ingest, I usually just dissolve the freebase harmalas in some orange juice or bit of hot water with lemon and drink it up.. Smile

IT IS ONLY TO THE EXTENT THAT WE ARE WILLING TO EXPOSE OURSELVES OVER AND OVER AGAIN TO ANNIHILATION THAT WE DISCOVER THAT PART OF OURSELVES THAT IS INDESTRUCTIBLE.

the crude crystals resulting from hcl ethanolic extract of caapi are quite hydroscopic. while you can get them nice and crunchy it doesnt last long if not sealed up soon...
