Anyone familiar with Spectral Music ? it's a practice where compositional decisions are often informed by the analysis of sound spectra ( Right out of wikipediia ).One of the founders of Spectral Music was Gérard Grisey, here is a piece, composed by him that i think some of you will like. http://www.youtube.com/w...2FwY&feature=related " Freedom from the desire for an answer is essential to the understanding of a problem." - jiddu Krishnamurti

Carbon Based Lifeforms-Neurotransmitter http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ez4SFQVyT3wWhen this song kicks in at the 2:00 min mark it reminds me of the almost technological feel i get in hyperspace.Like the machinery of the universe in the process of creation.

DMTripper is a fictional character therefore everything he says here must be fiction. I mean, who really believes there is such a place as Hyperspace!!

I don't know if I would say these reflect hyperspace or not, but following are several of my very favorite jams to implode to: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BmmHl9arQWIhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RNDXhV6uKdUhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=96ju7754pXUhttp://www.youtube.com/w...0m2A&feature=relatedhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ee58iv63M2Ahttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3nYn9kxMIjUhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TV74PsUo1dcThe first two, especially - they are both from the soundtrack to The Mahabarata. My hyperplace often seems very rich in Hindu flavored imagery (go figure), so this music really helps me push the envelope. I've been so deep with both of them so many times that sometimes when I hear em, I get a little bit weak in the knees. Same with the piece from Sunshine - damn near makes me hyperventilate everytime I hear it. With regard to classical, Rachmaninoff is great for sure. Bach too just can't be beat. http://www.youtube.com/w...W2t8&feature=relatedAnd I love Kodaly as well. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4MEUIGjfHNw

Glad you liked it, Some of my first acid experiences were while listening to that from my friends self built audiophile system... incredible trip, complete ego death and rebirth You might like this acoustic performance; can anyone guess the performers? i really enjoy listening to sigur ros. they make beautiful music and the singer made up a language to sing in as well as singing in a high falsetto(sp) you never know what he is singing about, but at the same time it doesnt matter. you get out of it what you put into it im "wherever you go...there you are"

I haven't seen anyone mentioning NASA's Voyager recordings anywhere on the Nexus. This is a bit strange as they are a trip in themselves. I love putting on my "mindfold" and just float away. With some psychedelics they are simply incredible. There is the older "symphonies of the planets vol. 1-5" but i can't find them on Youtube. There are torrents about on the usual file sharing sites. There are also some other recordings available on amazon. I did find a clip on youtube that shows what they are about... The owls are not what they seem

Liking the first song so far. Cool cover art too. http://www.fcbd.com/catalog/images/cd_nexus.gif"Within your heart is a lotus, and within this lotus is a diamond.
