Hello! I am new to the forum, and I thought I should introduce myself. Firstly my real name is not john brown but you can call me it if you want. i have not done DMT yet, as a matter of fact my phalaris is over heat in acid right now, i have done lsd before though. I am a biology major with a chemistry minor, and i am pre med so i am very familiar with the processes used for extraction. i am really interested in psychoactive plants in general as well. I have an aq1 plant but it is pretty small relatively and my current extraction is mostly from local arundinacea plants harvested at dawn. I am very curious about how to optimize the dmt content of my aq1 grass and in perfecting the extraction process. i have actual glassware(sep funnel, distillation setup, etc) and acces to ir spec for now. i look forward to getting to know you all!

Welcome to the Nexus Mr. Brown Smile

What makes you interested in DMT?

What were your thoughts and feelings about LSD?

Pleasure to meet you.

Hello John.BrownSmile

Nice to see another phalaris guy joining. There are a few active members who have spent an extensive amount of time working grass research from all sides. If none of them notice this thread, I would maybe consider a dedicated thread title specifying what you’re working on and it’ll probably catch someone’s eye. In the meantime, if you haven’t already read through the phalaris threads, it would likely be worth your time. And welcome

Edit: Ah Embarrased I see your Aq1 light optimization thread

im interested in dmt because it is an endogenous hallucinogen and the closest thing we have to evidence of life or something after death, and in its use in mental health research. Also the fact you can extract it from wild plants around where i live is the main reason i can actually afford and be able to do this in general.
I really like lsd, it is a fun and sometimes meaningful experience for me. i build and maintain tolerance really quickly even for lsd due to my ssris so i cant take it more than once a month or longer or it doesnt do anything. i prefer to be outside when i take it and experience nature and watch all the leaves and grass turn into letters.

Good stuff! I really like it!

What do you plan to do career-wise then?

I hope you have an opportunity to try the wonderful mushroom, if that suits you. I am extremely biased and don't care- I LOVE MUSHIES. Though I think I'd have to concede that the spice comes first Love . The combination of the two is marvelous (as well as with LSD).

What's the wildest thing you feel you've seen on a psychedelic.

career wise im pre med, i do not really know what field of medicine i want to go into yet, i want to experience it all in med school before i really decide.

i always love watching nature on psychedelics, watching the trees turn into fractals of themselves and the leaves turn into letters, the wierdest thing so far is probably when first did it with my gf and we both hallucinated that she was sweating a ton and had like pit stains and then we both simultaneously realized it wasnt real and it blew our minds. the wildest thing for me is that we always have shared hallucinations or whatever you want to call them when we are both tripping.

That's awesome. Thumbs up

As wild as it sounds, I've had similar experiences with different couplings of individuals and different substances. It's happened the most with DMT though.

However the specific one that you and your girlfriend experienced is pretty funny Laughing
