Man, that quote is so applicable to me. I think it might have been from Terence McKenna. Not 100% sure. I am older but have never stopped learning my entire life. I have only a few experiences many many moons ago with a couple acid and mushroom trips. I use weed occasionally.

I am naturally empathic and I believe I have a higher than normal awareness by doing meditation and a few courses I have attended... think Eckhart Tolle, Wim Hoff breathing etc.

Years ago I had heard of DMT but never really gave it any attention until recently. As such it has been showing up everywhere for me... Netflix "fantastic fungi" being one of the most memorable. I felt and ease of now being able to talk about psychedelics more openly. I also feel that the fear stigma is evaporating from it.

I jumped with both feet and tried to find out how the hell I could get some DMT! Ha ha... this took me down the whole dark web route and learning about that quagmire. Omg what a scary space. The point at which it I saw people having to test for fentanyl was a hard stop for me.

So I decided at that point I would have to make it on my own.

100 or so hours later I am making my first batch which has already been a learning experience.

In my journey in life I have honestly felt an increasing in awareness over time ... separating the self from the thoughts... I have learned about a few frameworks in which to explore that but it wasn't until I got a better understanding of how the default mode network works that I really had an U-ha moment. I have given lectures on breaking the loop that we all get stuck in ... but it was intuitive... I know by pointing this out to myself and others... when they can look at themselves as an observer they can change... and so can I. I knew and experienced this without DMT. However, I believe that DMT will help me expand my understanding... I am hoping it will expand me as person for the better.

It definitely found me too, though in a different way. I had been taking what I didn't know were considered high doses of mushrooms at the time. When a couple buddies found out they told me I had to do DMT. They were very pressing. I remember them bringing it up, me showing some interest, them asking when I would be available, then showing up to my place... and the rest is history.

If one stops learning, they're either dead or not living right Big grin

Looking forward to hearing how your journeying goes.

Welcome to the Nexus my friend,

I actually was scared of DMT, for a long time.
I have something of “natural meditation states”. Idea of letting them go stronger, was “forbidden” for me.
When I felt desperate for it, I did it.
And I did not do a regular Aya.
Somehow, I felt like I was betraying my efforts in finding "soul experience".
And apparently, I failed, in positive way...
The shit I did was potent as fuck.
Mixture I did was special, to Me.

I just did what I had to do, and found what I had to.

And to be serious. I’m still “digesting” it.
I’m actively writing my experiences.

It found me.
More like: "It was destined to happened, in that time".
- I will delete/edit this post if I was "too exposing" or just stupid.
- Sorry for spelling errors

One of my favorite quotes is... What you resist ...persists. Meaning that we have to be willing to experience the beliefs and feelings we have... without judgement and accept responsibility as the creator of them.... IMHO.

I still am... Twisted Evil and have been engaging with it off and on for about a decade.
