SWIM really messed stuff up this time...

SWIM was doing multiple extractions in different methods and had accidentally mixed about 20ml of naptha with d-limonene which already contained alkaloids in it...

is there a way SWIM can still use this d-limonene? SWIM was about to do a FASW pull from this d-limonene but accidentally mixed a bit of naptha in it....

what if SWIM puts the mixed naphtha and d-limonene in a mason jar, then in a boiling pot of water, wont the naptha just evaporate off?

SWIM is really feeling bad right now, very disappointed in himself...

Is there anything SWIM can do, shall SWIM just do the FASW step with the naphtha still in it?

Don't boil off the naphtha because you'll probably boil off the alkloids in the process.

I've FASW'd out of naphtha before, so I imagine a bit in some limonene would be fine.

If you want to re-use the limonene I'd boil the naphtha out after the salting of alkaloids and what not.

Wow, thank you very very much... That put SWIMS mind at ease, even though SWIM had started the warm water bath heheheh... SWIM ran up the his makeshift lab and yanked the power out of the broiler thingamajig! Hehe, SWIM will update on how it turned out.
