Hey, call me pointy hatI've been tripping around the southerly end of God's Country for a good while now, and I've used this forum as a resource on a subject matter that's always been endlessly fascinating to me, but always equally as elusive. Years ago, on a particular June 22nd, I had the aforementioned subject matter in my possession! "What a treat..." thought I. After eating 4 hits of another subject matter, and reaching the peak, I decided to fire up the oil burner and see what this was all about. I took a toke, took another, tried a third... I burnt pretty much all of it because I didn't really know what I was doing (and was pinwheel-crazy high to boot). What did happen though, was that my spine started crackling with a sort of static electricity and my vision took on a fish-eye lens look for a few minutes. ah, well, next time. Time tunnel from then to now and I had an odd experience a month or so ago: while driving, my mind was hijacked, if you will, and I received a message, "you're very close, but you have to make It" Somehow, I new exactly what this message was in regards to! The glue of the Nexus, of course. A calling back to psychedelics after a few years' hiatus. So, I did what the messenger suggested. Here I sit with loads of the stuff, yet to try it. It's been an obsession of mine for years. I chased it and now I'm staring it down, but I can't seem to work up the nerve to load it up and blast off! Had a few confusing sub-breaks. Like, instant mushroom-confusion with no real visual aspect? Mind spreading, energy conducting, etc. Anyway, I can't wait to really dive in. The anticipation is driving me crazy!

Hello pointy hat Welcome and if you really want to take the plunge look for sth. better then an oil burner. (e-mesh or GVG for example) It is very hard to go far with that. Anyways have a gud one and i hope you have a great experience Psychedelic drugs don´t change you, they don´t change your character, unless you want to be changed. They enable change. They can´t impose it. Alexander Shulgin

Hi, Pointy Hat.
IME sharing the experience with a friend is a more comfortable way to travel, when you are nervous.
Safe travels.

Welcome to the Nexus!! You’ve done the EASY part now (ha ha).......safe travels At the center of this existence, it is everything and nothing, all of us and each of us and none of us. Welcome from another neophyte, and I agree with SynKyd. Extracting in my limited experience (once!) is much easier than getting to where you want this to take you. In my case that's three attempts with an oil burner pipe without success. Atomizer is on its way.

Quote:I've been tripping around the southerly end of God's Country for a good while now Haha, I was born in Texas, and I just imagined a screaming eagle and The Alamo standing strong. I'm a huge fan of the south even though I'm planning to move up north. I also hate to sound like a broken record recommending an Ayahuasca analogue, but ever since my first brew, I've had absolutely zero issues with breaking through. There's no technique to just drinking the thing. There are so many reports I've read throughout the Nexus that talk about how they weren't able to break through and really achieve the healing or spirits that they were looking for when smoking it. So my recommendation would be to brew up a MAOI, and then dissolve your DMT crystals into it. That would save you the whole mess of brewing up a separate drink anyways, and the nervousness goes away a little bit when you know you have a some time to let it set in versus a hit that just annihilates you right off the bat. Four hours also really lets the healing set in. You'll need that time for all the dialogue if that's what you're looking for. If that is what you're looking for, read this Gentle First ExperienceYou'll have to order some B. Caapi though. Good luck either way! Sinbad is an entirely fictitious character I created for role-playing someone sailing their own consciousness as if it were the 7 seas. Also, the semi-colon was meant to be abused; incorrectly even!

wow, thanks everyone!
I currently have a healthstone hand vape, seems to function like a "machine" if I understand that device correctly.
Very gracious for the replies! I wasn't expecting so many.
@Sinbad, thanks for weighing in. I'm interested in dabbling in aya, but I don't know anyone personally who has any advice for me. Since the smokable version is what drew me in, most of my research has gone into that method. You've piqued my interest!
