Started a 3x3x3 brew of Red Ayahuasca today. The pot took over an hour to get to boiling for some reason. It steamed for a long time, and it smelled like the best gd chocolate cake I never ate.
Then I got distracted, and it went right to a fast boil. Uh oh.
Now it smells like a really rich dark chocolate cake that I probably shouldn't eat. Well, maybe I should. It'll do me good. It's just now really Serious.
I'd like to try very gently simmering only at one point though. If the smell changes with heat, I'm sure there's a chemical difference as well between types of boils.
