Hi! I'm just your average college dude who fell down the rabbit hole.

I have had three DMT experiences so far, two breakthroughs, all leaving me with more questions than answers. I have also had five LSD trips, 3x100ug doses and 2x200ug doses, all of varying degrees of intensity and insight. LSD is a very strange substance that I can't seem to learn very much from, aside from my very insightful first experience. I seem to get into one large thought loop, but I digress.

Soon I will be trading some of my homemade changa for a friend's homegrown mushrooms, so any recommendations for the experience would be highly appreciated! I plan to do a smaller 3.5g trip to get comfortable, and eventually move into a 5g trip in a dark room.

I am a pretty heavy cannabis smoker, have been for a while, but I keep it to the nights and the weekends so that I can focus on school.

I joined this forum to get advice on my own psychedelic experiences, help people who are new to psychedelics, and share and gain wisdom from like-minded individuals!

Thanks for reading, and I look forward to more discussion!

Welcome!
It has been my experience that a cannabis habit can dampen the intensity of psychedelics (I have no experience with DMT though). You might want to try pausing it for a while before a trip. But if you do that, be careful when smoking up while on a trip - it can boost it enormously if the tolerance isn't there anymore, it's not always pleasant.
Smoking on a trip when you're used to smoking up anyhow should not be so intense, though. Your mileage may vary, of course - this is how it was for me.

Safe journeys!

Welcome to the nexus lampeyelittle, you sound like you’ll fit in perfectly here. If your looking for full membership as well as looking to truly be active in the community I’ll throw you a few good tips to help you speed up the process a little.

1: get nice and familiar with our attitude page. It will serve you well inside and outside the nexus. Plus keep you from driving the mods crazy lol

2: go ahead and do some questionnaire questions, your answers will show how committed you are to doing your own research and providing good quality answers people can rely on, you also may learn some pretty cool stuff which is a plus Thumbs up

3: check out some post in the new members section and see how you can possibly help answer questions, write experience reports, or just chime in to make some friends. (And I promise you’ll actually make friends here and get more attached to people then you think you might), also log on chat if you want. Once again make some friends, engage the community and let people get to know you.

4: I think you’ll be great with this one considering your using it under your profile name, but always treat others the way you’d like to be treated, we have a lot of people here from all over the world, all with their own opinions and beliefs. This community is huge on being kind and open minded and once again it not only will serve you well here but in the outside world as well.

We’re always happy to welcome new members and hopefully these tips help you adjust nicely to the environment. Welcome again to the nexus and I look forward to reading some of your post 👍
This guys ego ^

Thank you! My first breakthrough was under the influence of cannabis and I most definitely agree, I felt as though the experience was much foggier and more "dream-like" under the influence of THC. My most recent breakthrough was after being a full day sober and it was a much more vivid and intense experience.

It seems counter intuitive, as I have found cannabis to be incredibly helpful with guiding and steering my LSD trips. I find the cannabis to make the LSD experience much more grounded and interesting, but everyone's different.
