Hey everybody just would like to introduce myselfSmile

I have been a long long time lurker here gaining a wealth of information, and just successfully completed my first extraction so I thought it was time to join you guys!

A little bit about me:
The first time I ever had an interest in psychadellic drugs came before I had even tried cannabis, it was first year of high school in a drug education class. I remember the teacher telling us that if someone tried to give us a little paper square to put on our tongue that we shouldn't do it by any means because it would make us "see things". Ofcourse this isnt really a true representation of lsd but it got me curious, so a couple years went on and in the circle of friends I was hanging out with at the time somebody had mentioned taking acid before so I told him I'd love to try it so a few weeks later he called me saying he'd picked some up and was heading back to the area. So when I met with them they gave me a tab and I had it, completely unaware of what to expect. Anyway without going into every detail of that experience I'll just say it was amazing and even better then I thought it would be and from that moment I knew psychadellics were my favourite type of substance.
I took a fair bit of acid of the years, and then one day I was doing some gardening and noticed a mushroom in the garden, I hadn't seen this mushroom before so I was curious was it magic? I asked a few friends and turns out it wasnt magic however they gave me a description of what to look for so a couple days later I went for a walk and happened to find the mushrooms they were describing, psylocybe subaeruginosa. I made sure the stems bruised blue and sent a few pics to friends which confirmed it for me. So i went to my best mates house and we ate them, it was only enough for basically threshold effects but it set us off on a journey of mushroom hunting, atleadt 3-4 days a week wed hunt for shrooms and found some here and there and had some real nice days walking around in nature tripping on shrooms, at the time we thought it was good but later I realised we weren't really having enough so when I discovered that I was surely amazed with the effects, and then I started hunting and tripping every season with my mate.

Now I have a solid interest in psychadellics I inevitably heard of dmt, now that was something I wanted to try. I did much research on dmt which eventually led me to research extractions as I honestly thought I'd never come across any. Well knowing the extraction was one thing but with no mhrb available I just had to look for acacia species locally to try extract from. I performed a few test extractions on plants I thought were obtusifolia but they were most definitely not as I yielded nothing. The funny thing with dmt that I found and some other people I know found is that sometimes it finds you, and not always where you think. I randomly started talking to somebody at a nightclub of all places who happened to have some back at home. So afterwards i went over there and he showed me this black leafy stuff and he called it changa, I'm not too sure what the leaf used but I packed up a bong and took a hit. I didnt breakthrough but I got to see the power of it. I asked about crystal and he managed to get a bit for me to try and I played around with some smaller doses until I decided to jump right in. That first breakthrough was really something it wasnt what I was expecting but it was then anybody could expect without trying it because theres no comprehending what can happen without experiencing it first hand.

Since then I've introduced as many people as I can to dmt and helped them to have wonderful experiences for themselves.

I had a long break from psychadellics for a couple reasons, first and probably the main reason was I developed a pretty severe meth addiction which lasted for 10 years, in that time I did have psychadellics but that was more just for getting high. The second reason which was also the reason for addiction was the fact I developed PTSD, severe anxiety and severe depression, I loved psychadellics but I new it wasnt the time.

Anyway now is about 4 years clean and mental health is being managed naturally, and recently dmt came back into my life, and I feel on a mission to explore it and share it further, along with other psychadellics I've yet to try (mescaline, Buford, 5meo etc).

With all that said, I'm thankful to be here, and look forward to speaking with and sharing ideas with the people here.
Second extraction will be performed in the next week or two so I'll be sure to share the findings with everyone here!

Thanks for reading nexians!

WELCOME! One thing that came to mind right off the bat is how funny it is when people (your anti drug guy in the highschool) try to turn us off to things that is EXACTLY what turns us on! "wait I can SEE THINGS! awesome lets try it!!" HAHA

I have been in a similar spot to you. I to had a nasty nasty addiction in the past not meth actually the polar opposite Big grin But it lasted for 10 years. Then 10 years (almost) of use of a "medication" wich really can just be a continuation of the addiction. i am starting to deal with now. Anyway welcome! what i mentioned above is a mark of a true psyconaut! the things that scare alot of people make us EXTREMELY interested!!

It was drug education that got me interested in psychedelics as well Very happy

β€œThere is a way of manipulating matter and energy so as to produce what modern scientists call 'a field of force'. The field acts on the observer and puts him in a privileged position vis-à-vis the universe. From this position he has access to the realities which are ordinarily hidden from us by time and space, matter and energy. This is what we call the Great Work."
