So, SWIM's got a glass VG and likes it, but finds it difficult to take more than a small hit of anything without feeling like he's scorching his lungs. This is no problem for MJ, but for spice it makes it hard to reach breakthrough doses. Does anyone have any solutions for this?

I've seen obliguhl's cooling device and will tell SWIM to make something similar if he can't find an easier way to cool his VG.

Has anyone tried putting the VG in the freezer? I thought this might work but worried that it could cause the glass to crack after a while...

Any advice would be appreciated!

Not sure that the frozen VG will cool down the vapour.

I have no problem with the heat of the vapour, so, only way to find out is to test it yourself.

As I have not had this problem either, I would think to maybe adjust your technique a bit.. Back flame off a little bit and try inhaling slower. just guessing

do you guys smoke regularly (MJ / tobacco)? SWIM used to and his lungs were much "tougher" back then. But now he regrets all the damage he did and wants to be as nice to them as possible

Yes, regular smoker, I probably have lungs like leather, but soon hope to give up tobacco too

I do not smoke anything but changa and the very rare joint. I do vape MJ pretty much daily in a vapor bros vaporizer. I quit cigs a couple years ago but I smoked around a pack a day for 10 years before that.

Stick the vapor genie into a bong.

It will fit most downstems, you just have to hold it on there while you're hitting it.

This poses its own set of problems - like keeping your spice packed to one part of the bowl without it spilling all over when the pipe is turned sideways.
