I fricking LOVE Hawaiian baby woodrose, but I hate the vasoconstriction with a pasion. I tried them for the first time with 7 seeds in a solution of water and peppermint extract. The effects were mind blowing! I experienced synesthesia, the loop, seeing faces everwhere, kaleidoscope vision, extreme body map distortion, but not many visuals I would expect from LSD cause I never really saw anything that wasn't there (other than my brain seeing things in patterns), just everything was distorted (I never have experienced LSD). The trip sucked at first though, having hardly experimented with tryptamines other than a very small dose of ayahuasca. When I started walking around before I started feeling many effects my thighs hurt from the vasoconstriction and this caused some anxiety. Once I started to peak my body pretty much melted into my vision... so it was hard to tell if what I was experiencing for vasoconstriction was ok, or if I was in trouble. Also the vasoconstriction caused my penis to shrink up like I was naked in -30 degree weather and getting an erection was impossible until the middle of the next day. I don't think I had an erection when I woke up either. It's a lot easier to relax in a trip when your little buddy is relaxed too!

Anybody know of some way I can eliminate the vasoconstriction of HBWR? Also is the vasoconstriction dangerous? When do I have to worry about losing limbs or causing nerve damage? Would viagra work to increase the blood flow to my penis, or would that just pump blood to it and fuck with the already constricted veins and arteries?

next time dose with a cup of yerba mate and some dark chocolate. maybe later on have an avocado and a fine wheat beer. instead of viagra, puff cannabis sativa. try dancing around before hand, too !

I smoked around 4 bowls of good cannabis between 3 people while waiting to trip. I don't think I will ever mix those 2 again. The HBWR caused quite a bit of paranoia and the cannabis caused anxiety and when those 2 mixed when I started to trip my brain was completely overwhelmed. I felt like I knew exactly how autistic people feel. I was just too overwhelmed. Once the cannabis wore off and I got in a warm place the effects of the HBWR were just as complex, but not nearly as overwhelming.

Check your sensitivity to yohimbe beforehand. 1 tsp is great for SWIM but others might find it to be too much.

Yohimbe goes very well with HBWR. It blocks the vasoconstriction, improves the visual effects, blocks the sedative effects, and does little else. It won’t increase any negative effects. But just make sure you’re not super sensitive to yohimbe before trying it with HBWR. Some people are super sensitive to it. For SWIM 1 tsp is good. For some people 1/8 of a teaspoon is enough.

You want to use barely enough to feel the yohimbe and no more than that.

If you do not want to influence the trip as much as Yohimbe will do, try Ginkgo biloba. I agree with 69ron that Yohimbe goes well with LSA/LSH, I just wanted to give you a tip of another great botanical that does the trick. Smile

Ginkgo biloba is also very good as a vasodilator, a little too good for me. Like yohimbe, you'll need to be careful with the dosage. Both cause side effects if you overdo it. With Ginkgo, I tend to get a bad headache and red ears if a little too much is taken.

Personally, I get more side effects from Ginkgo biloba than from yohimbe.

SWIM finds that Ginkgo alters the trip just as much as yohimbe does but in a very different way.

Ginkgo Biloba is good, I know for a fact it increase alpha waves. See my thread on Combatting LSD/LSA/LSH Vasoconstriction
