I seem to recall reading something about a female ayahuasca that used a different admixture plant or plants that didn't contain any DMT. It was supposed to be very cleansing, but a physically tough experience. I can't remember where I picked it up from but probably worth looking into before you commit so you can get an idea of what to expect.

I mean with psychedelics in general, almost all of the benefit is pretty directly derived from your intentions. I don't think it makes it a hoax that this is more of the same. Maybe these shamans can provide more information about what makes this brew special if you asked?
