Making home Aya brew coming up with rue and acacia. Just the alchemist in me, but I didn’t know if anyone has anything else they add, psychoactive or not. Any kind of tea or herbs? I thought about ginger for anti nausea effects. Just looking for some others insight. What about cannabis leaf or bud, or maybe just hemp leaf for cbd effects. “You think that’s air you’re breathing?” -Morpheus “Whoa fellas, I’m feeling kinda bowling ball-ish.” -Leopold Butters Stoch It’s got what plants crave. -Brawndo

Hawaiian baby woodrose seeds, you have to do a cold water extraction with them but they are very active even on their own

If it's your first time, just try it as it is. Otherwise, lemon balm (Melissa officinalis) might be a good starting point. If you have a good working knowledge of the plants in your garden, you might want to try adding one or more of those - this predicates having studied herbalism with some level of seriousness. I would be reluctant to add cannabis material to a brew, what makes you think it might be a good idea? Jackoval Trades - do you have any experience of using HBWR CWE as an aya admixture? Why are you recommending this? “There is a way of manipulating matter and energy so as to produce what modern scientists call 'a field of force'. The field acts on the observer and puts him in a privileged position vis-à-vis the universe. From this position he has access to the realities which are ordinarily hidden from us by time and space, matter and energy. This is what we call the Great Work." ― Jacques Bergier, quoting Fulcanelli

I second the Lemon Balm, i highly recommend it to pretty much everyone. It cleans up how the Rue feels, and smooths out the intense oral DMT/Acacia/Mimosa or even the less intense Psilocin come up. It helps reduce intensity during the come up, relax/ease the mind, and helps make things more user friendly/navigable without feeling overwhelmed. I personally use and recommend 3 to 4.5 grams of dried Lemon Balm leaf made into tea (steeped in a cup of fresh hot water for about 15 to 20 minutes, then filtered/strained off and the tea sweetened and consumed), 4 to 4.5 grams and there's little to no intensity, 3 grams the intensity is reduced but still there a bit.
Cannabis can be good, but after using it with this stuff for most of my experimentation, i've come to the realization that if i'm going to smoke Cannabis, then to smoke it after the come up and everything has kicked in, otherwise it can amplify the paranoia and anxiety, and increase the intensity.
Tobacco can be good too, personally i find Tobacco helps me talk in tongues with a good dose of Rue and either Acacia/Mimosa or mushrooms/4-ACO-DMT, with or without Lemon Balm, Cannabis may contribute, i'm not sure, but i'm pretty sure it's mainly to do with the Tobacco.
As far as anti-nausea effects go, Limonene is probably your best bet, at least ime so far. I've personally tried Ginger root tea, Ginger EO, Zofran, and Peppermint, and none of them really helped with the purgative effects, but Limonene seems to. 5-HT3 antagonism doesn't seem to do much for the purgative effects, but Limonene seems to help either by agonizing the 5-HT1A receptor which apparently inhibits a receptor called NK1, or because it seems to help get digestion going. Both Zofran, and Ginger, seemed to alter the medicine in a very undesirable way ime, but i could've perhaps used too much Zofran, and too much Ginger. Also some sort of anti-cholinergic should help with the motion sickness and dizziness, but i'm not sure as i haven't yet tried it, though be careful with anti-cholinergics, and be careful with something like Benadryl which is metabolized by CYP2D6 which Harmalas potently inhibit, thus requiring a much lower dosage of CYP2D6 substrates, same for CYP1A2 substrates, so that would also affect Zofran since it's metabolized by CYP1A2 and CYP2D6 so imo if you try Zofran, try no more than 2mgs or less.

Yes, I only used 5 seeds per dose in this one batch I did, it was syrian rue and mimosa not acacia. My trip partners said this batch was particlearly visual, I noticed that I was far less confused and my thoughts would flow more comfortably. I didn't throw up but hbwr has made me throw up on it's own before.

I appreciate the advice on lemon balm, will definitely try. I had thought about tobacco because of traditional use but I don’t really have access to what I feel is not dirty chemical tobacco. Maybe American spirit? Granted I smoke cigarettes, not something I really wanted to mix without knowing. I think zofran is a med and I don’t want to incorporate any kind of med. was just looking for plants to brew along side. Also on the cannabis note, mostly because when I’ve smoked spice I get very jittery so the idea was a calming, stoned feel from it. Plus the anti nausea effect of it. I know purging is part of it, but I’m a baby when it comes to puking lol. Also, I just like weed! ;-p “You think that’s air you’re breathing?” -Morpheus “Whoa fellas, I’m feeling kinda bowling ball-ish.” -Leopold Butters Stoch It’s got what plants crave. -Brawndo

Lemon balm, Chamomile, Lavender, Ginger, Peppermint. You can add calm music and incense/aromatherapy. A hit or two of cannabis seems like a good idea to relieve nausea and calm you down, don't smoke too much. Dont brew cigs into your aya instead you can mix little mapacho with your cannabis and smoke it.
