Thank you everyone that participates on this site. I've learned a ton from the shared knowledge supplied by it's very helpful user-base!

A bit about me:

I've a background (albeit it's been a while) in Biology and Chemistry.
I first took a psychoactive substance about 3 years ago and I can definitely attest to the shift in trait 'openness to new experience' upward in the big five personality test is a true affect for me.

I've lost my fear of dying (not that I have any wish to do so... nor do I particularly want to experience the pain of it.)

I've made a full transition from atheism to what I call a 'non-dogmatic' form of Christianity. I love the gospel, but have a tough relationship with most churches.

Through my psycho-nautical journeys I've developed a great interest in the benefits of these substances for my own Jungian / alchemical transformations of the self.

I'm constantly amazed at how often I will have a bit of wisdom and truth exposed during a mystical experience then I will find confirmation of that thought in the writings of a shaman, yogi or philosopher.

Currently, I'm exploring the pattern that makes up my being and trying to wrap my mind around the ancient texts as well as to 'translate' the runes, cosmic snakes, DNA and other biochemicals I see during my journeys between inner and outer space.

I relate this 'runic' translation to the translation of DNA to RNA. I truly believe that the chemistry of the body experiences a positive shift through faith and exploration and integration of the subconscious. I've often felt that I've undertaken a willful 'reprogramming' of my body and mind.

Some of my deepest experiences have been with a tab of LSD and hitting a DMT vape rig at the peak and during the comedown. It feels like I can 'think' creation into being. I can see what appear to be hologram-like images and full plays / scenes upon my body or by staring deeply into the slightly reflective marble like tile that makes up my flooring.

I don't think I have been this entertained by the soles of my feet since I was a baby!

I'll post up some more detailed trip reports later as I feel writing them out helps me relive and understand the experiences. Hopefully they will be useful to others as well.
