swim had 4 jars, all the same. swim successfully pulled about 250ml naphtha from each jar for the first pull. then refilled with new naphtha and rolled and let separate overnight.the next day, only one jar had separated. swim pulled the one that separated and refilled and let them all sit overnight. in the morning, 3 of them remained unseparated. any suggestions?

add water about 10% of current volume, shake it for 30 seconds and let it sit. If it still doesnt help, add lye,(1-2 teaspoons) Shake.

Good advice. Also try a little heat- perhaps letting your jars sit in a sink of hot water for a while can get things moving?

I believe that the heat causes the naphtha to expand thereby reducing its weight by volume with the H2O remaining unchanged. This may help the naphtha to rise up and out of the solution.
