A couple years ago I decided I needed to confront my ego and get rid of the habits and beliefs that were holding me back in life.

After taking many many hours over the course of several months to read through the information documented on forums such as the Dmt-nexus, Shroomery and Erowid I concluded that Mushies were the way to go for me as I felt I needed the deep connectivity provided by a high dose of psilocybin.

I spoke to a friend of mine who has some experience in the field and he agreed to let me go foraging with him. We spent an hour trekking through forest to his patch and another 3 collecting what we could.

I dried everything for storage because I wasn't ready just yet.

The 'right time' had revealed itself 3 weeks later on a Thursday evening.



....15g of dried P.Subaeruginosa later I was thrashing around my bed in synchrony with the shapes and colours in my head.

I felt (heard, touched, tasted and watched) many emotions that night and explored the deepest, darkest and brightest corners of my mind, the neurons that had laid dormant since childhood, bringing to light memories I hadn't been able to recall for over a decade.

I didn't know how to integrate any of this in my life until I began trying other psychedelics, then each experience began to outline the lessons of others, through time and experience I started to develop a picture of myself, a mindset that would help me push through and overcome the challenges I'm set to face in life.

I think that first mushroom experience held the most profound and valuable lessons of all that I am still deciphering to this day.
