Has/does anyone here used/use spice daily?

I'm interested in the effects daily use of DMT would have on the human body, from mental or physical strain to enlightenment and possibly 'holier than thou' complexes. (I had read on another thread that it is possible for one to feel like they are Godlike after the experience is over)

I did for a bit during the honeymoon phase. The spice was pure, and my lungs felt fine through it. My body felt just great and I got into exercising. As far as holier than thou strictly because of the spice, I knew I was doing something that not many people were but didn't feel better than them, just like I had an experience that was very novel. Like reading a really good book that most other people have not, whether or not someone feels greater than others for having that experience depends on the individual's psyche, imho.

Looking back at my logs, however, I would say I was easily prone to passion - kind of like romanticizing all things. Plus, having a part of my life that I loved but couldn't discuss with many people was a bit of a downer, especially when I was so passionate about it. Don't get me wrong, spice is wonderful, but for me the honeymoon was very real.

Well in terms of physical, I guess it depends on how pure your product is. I think it would be logical to assume anything that you failed to clean in your extraction or what your supplier failed to clean will end up in your body and have the potential to be a long-term detriment.

I found some interesting teks (which I've never used) which are labeled "nontoxic" to help minimize deleterious byproducts:
1. Amor fati's Nontoxic Approach to the Extraction of DMT
2. Nontoxic limonene tek

R. Straussmen documents dialy use of DMT in The Spirit Molecule and his tests suggest that tolerance dissipates rather quickly. Quoting the FAQ:

Quote:
Researches have been made showing the relative safety of dmt. It does not cause physical damage, addiction, and any tolerance disappears very quickly. Ayahuasca, the dmt-containing brew from the Amazon, has been studied by multidisciplinary groups in Brazil and other countries and was shown that in a careful context, it presents no negative cognitive/psychiatric/social consequences, even in adolescents.

And here's a link to a discussion on long term effects. You may also be interested in the safety section.

I think the "Godlike" feeling you are referring to is that mystical element of DMT experience that happens to a lot of people. It is a superlative sensation of seeing, knowing and divinity and if your ego latches onto that and spins stories about it afterwards then you may become a bit unbearable to others....
But in combination with an attitude of humility (not taking yourself too seriously) and some kind of meditative practice, I am pretty convinced there is no 'too much DMT' except in so far as there are deleterious physical effects from smoking it.
As for psychological addiction, anything can do that to you if you like it enough. And yes DMT is very likeable....

Swim's lacking in words at the moment but...
Swim never heard "the honeymoon phase" phrase before, but it is perfect; also does anyone seem to Taste/ Smell dmt during times of extreme stress, anxiety, or Happiness.? Swim has unknowingly smoked dmt fumarate many many many times, but hasn't noticed the Taste until after having drank Mimohuasca successfully Numerous times. Swim hasn't ingested dmt in any form for about a year now. When swim has a rush of emotions the taste of "moth balls" is on swims breath. When swim isn't very anxious/sad/happy the taste isn't noticeable. Swim wanted to add this taste brings a calming sensation, when swim thinks about how incredible Aya is swim gets chills; but when this taste is noticed it brings the best memories out that usually can relate to the present situation.

I had done DMT everyday for about 3 months. Hadn't experienced any negative side effects during or after.

I do believe it's better you space them out though. Take time to integrate what you've learned and reflect on things. Then go back at it and go back to honeymoon.
Let the Tao flow through you. Be the embodiment of it so throughout, that when passed by on the street they say, "Look! There goes Dao!"
