So it all started when I took a hit of some DMT (Crystal-Sandwich-Bong Method) whilst also under the influence of LSD (150 or 200 not sure) Now I have an pretty solid idea of what I expect when I do DMT (Sober or under the influence of other substances) I know the way my body feels and the way things start to change before I am no longer able to comprehend anything. For me the DMT experience on LSD is not in fact THAT different from sober except that it is all the more powerful and a bit more overwhelming to me. Anyways this particular time I noticed it was different, I couldn't place my finger on how but I knew it was, I simply shrugged it off as "The LSD is just messing with me/The DMT" or whatever but later found that around the "Time" I usually come back somewhat I hadn't done so yet. So I Thought, open your eyes see what you see. I looked at the blind on my door and all I remember thinking was oh fuck im dead or that I had screwed up somehow and was going to be stuck forever. This wasnt particularly bad however I simply closed my eyes and waited it out and Then it was back to the LSD trip.

Skip here for main point -> So anyway the next time I go to do DMT (Same method) The trip is the same as the LSD - Stuck forever trip. Its like Im suddenly taking a different variety of DMT (Same Batch) I would compare it to smoking 2 VERY different weed strains. All (ALL) of my DMT Trips since then have been different in the EXACT same way. I am so used to the "Old" DMT I can tell without a doubt that everything about my DMT trips is different but I do not know why. The trips seem to feel longer now as well, Before I kinda knew what was going on during the trip but now they last longer and have more sinister overtones I feel. The dosages for my DMT trips are eyeballed but all roughly the same amount respectively. I notice the change no matter the dose too. Just wondering if anyone has had any similar experiences because I have never heard of this kind of thing happening really. (obviously all trips are different but this is different again

Residiual interactions with psychedelics is a well known thing. Especially with smoking weed after visual psychedelics. It occurs because of synaptic plasticity and our brain wiring new connections from the trips we have had in the past thereby allowing the same firing of built neuronal structures. This can be either good or bad depending on how to the trip was or is in the present.
