Hello. I know this is a DMT forum, but I thought others here may have done LSD as well and can offer some advice.

I'm considering microdosing LSD to help battle my severe depression. The issue is, I have never tripped on anything before, so I'm nervous as to what to expect. I realize that microdosing won't give me a trip, which is good, but I'm sure it will make me feel something.

Does anyone here have any experience with microdosing? What was your experience? What does it feel like?

In addition to depression, I also suffer from bad anxiety. I've always stayed away from psychedelics because I felt that with my level of depression and anxiety, I probably would have a bad trip. But I've been reading so many success stories regarding micrdosing.

Just curious, can LSD do any permanent damage to the brain?

Just curious what eveyones thoughts are. Thanks.

Most of what you hear about LSD, like it getting stored in fatty tissues of the body, damaging your brain and stuff, are plain fiction by the drug war people and adopted by others like the Church of Scientology (who mainly used it to sell their nuclear-scare-inspired body detoxification program).

So no, it won't damage your brain. You might still have a psychotic break on it, that's not fiction, it totally can happen (on any tryptamine, really), but it's quite unlikely unless you're some degree of schizoid to begin with.

As for microdosing, well... read up all you can find. We really don't want to play doctor here. If you want to be your own doctor, make sure to have enough knowledge under the belt, not just anecdotal success stories, and don't rely on the opinions and ideas of others on the Net.

I found 1P lSd to be more stimy than LSD 25 but LSD 25 ti bemore stimy than ALD 52
so if you want less stimulation and les anxity you could go ALD 52.

I have never heard of pernamently damaging your brain and know that microdosing are amongst the safest psychologically active substances ( classic psychs that is)

However do yourresearch and watch out if you have mental issues or medicaiton ( for exemple Moclobemide with greatly potentiate any dosage of tryptamine and most alkalids or psychoactive in general ). as synergrestic effects of metabolisation.

The problem with microdosing LSD is to dose correctly.

A lot of people make a stock fluid of alcohol dissolved in water and some (1P-)LSD. They dissolve mostly blotter papers with say 200 micrograms of LSD in 10 mL of stock fluid. After soaking it for 24 hours in the stock fluid, the assumption is that almost all LSD should be absorbed. After that, every mL should theoretically correspond with 20 micrograms of LSD.

With this method there are a lot of uncertainties. Most of the times you won't know for sure a tab contains a certain amount of acid, you only have the word of the dealer for it or maybe some subjective experience from yourself or a peer. Second, you don't know for sure all the LSD is dissolved. Next, there is an uncertainty in measuring 10 mL and measuring 1mL, varying even more with temperature.

All these uncertainties make microdosing LSD unpredictable. Sometimes it can happen you accidentally take a dose above threshold, and you will start to feel the effects. That can lead to confusion, lack of concentration, discomfort, and even hallucinations. If that happens at work, or maybe even during driving towards work, such subjective effect can be a hazard.

The same can be the other way around; maybe you're taking so little LSD that is hasn't got any effect.

People tend to go for subperceptive doses; a microdose so little you do not feel the effects, but the effects are still there in the form of a creativity boost or enhanced perception. Wether this effect is really there, or if it's mostly placebo, we actually do not know. There have been some clinical trials past summer with microdosing suggesting there might be a creativity boost; but the available research relies heavily on self-reports.

I don't think you can consider microdosing LSD as an aid for curing depression at this time. There are some clinical studies with LSD-assisted psychotherapy claiming some first positive results. But such clinical trials haven't been done with microdosing yet.

LSD is not known to cause permanent brain damage. Psychedelics can however cause moments of intens fear during peak effects of a trip. These experiences can be traumatic and subsequently cause or amplify psychological problems. However, the chance of that happening with a microdose is quite low, because a microdose should not cause strong peak effects.

I have never micro dosed LSD, but have fount micro doses of cubies to be very uplifting.

The reason I've never played with microlsd is just due to the dosing issues and blotter paper.

I've found it to be much easier with mushrooms that I can grow.

If it's helpful with my own mushrooms I've found 200-300 mg to be effective, while anything over 600mg has noticable cognitive effects

Microdosing LSD is amazing. My wife suffers from rather severe anxiety and she finds that mircodosing LSD 2 or 3 times a week to be very helpful.

I`ve been microdosing LSD for one year(5ug is my sweet spot). Now I decided to take some break. But I was doing it mostly to see how it can boost my brain productivity and learning capabilities. DH888, for depression and anxiety maybe you should better try microdosing mushrooms. Anyway, you must be careful, we can give some advices, but only you know(?) your own mind...
