Help identify acacia confusa Options

I ran across what i believe is Hawaiian Acacia confusa but im not 100% sure here are some photos of it and the root bark *My main concern is the amount of yellow flowers blooming a lot of the pictures theres a lot of them maybe its not the right time of year*
